My teenage son and I took a tour recently for his boy scout history badge. He LOVED it! He wants to recommend it to local schools! We were so happy with our tour guide and our tour.

This museum is a former guesthouse/hotel on the New York City to Boston Old Post Road. The rooms contain period furniture and tools and household items including toys. The guided tours (about 1 hour) are entertaining and the guides are extremely knowledgeable. The cost is minimal. There is a gift shop with books and "things."

This museum shares 300+ years of history, beginning in pre-Revolutionary War times. The docents are knowledgeable and the tours are affordable, interesting, and small enough to have a personal feel.

My favorite fundraiser of Keeler Tavern Museum is their Christmas holiday lunches coming up again in Dec., the 6th through 10th. Wonderful chicken lunch, homemade cookies. My reservations are made for 5 family members. It's a very popular event so don't wait long or you'll miss out! You can even do a little shopping while you're there!

We visited the museum during our search for the perfect wedding and reception venue. The museum is a worth a visit if you are interested in historical New England sites. You will enjoy the property and Ridgefield as well.

This was our first time at this venue, for a wedding. We did not go into the museum or gift shop. The wedding was at 4pm. The gardens were in bloom. The arbors were well maintained and provided an interesting backdrop for photos. The fountain was not completely filled and then drained as the cocktail hour went on. But that... More

A very interesting historical building that played a role in the revolutionary war (and still has a cannon ball stuck in its wall to prove it) with very good docents providing tours. On a Wednesday every visitor (or group) seems to have its own docent. A delightful visit.
