When family and friends get together there is a magical sense of camaraderie of family. Il Cantina Sociale di La Familglia is Our Society of Wine Producers & you are now a member of the family. Throughout your days of wine-making with us you will learn from second, third & fourth generation Italian-Americans the joys and traditions of wine making. From crushing and pressing to racking and bottling, you will be involved in each step resulting in your own barrel of Vino della Casa labeled, of course, with your name. During your time with us, in addition to working with the grapes, we invite you to experience the Italian way, as we know it. We will share with you our new family, the great meals, the lore, the tradition and the story telling that has made for such camaraderie and resulted in so many special times. You'll probably even pick up a few of our favorite phrases and gestures along the way. We invite you to stroll the gardens, play a game of bocce or horseshoes, or lend a hand in the kitchen preparing for the evening's feast!

My friend and I went here to get another stamp on our passport. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Would be amazing for a wedding. The employees were top notch and super attentive. Please note that they do serve food but I asked and you can bring your own in. There were four wines on the tasting. Three reds and one... More

Perfect location for a wedding or other celebration. Don't hire the in house food service though, they allow outside catering and Olde Tymes in Norwich does a fabulous job. Olde Tymes has a full liquor license so you can have alcohol not just wine.

Came to visit while camping down the road. The staff was friendly and the wines were decent. $12 for 6 generous tastings and does not include the souvenir glass. The wine is decent for these parts. Had a $20 cheese platter that was yummy, and plentiful for 5 of us. There is a nice relaxing view in front of a... More

We visited Dalice Elizabeth a couple of weeks ago for the first time. It is a beautiful little vineyard, with a tasting room and lovely pond with chairs scattered around the grounds. The wine was fantastic, especially their red's which were the finest I have tasted of all the CT vineyards. We will defiantly return!

The winery itself is relatively small; however, what is produced is out of this world. They have some of the finest reds that I've ever tasted, and although I'm not a white wine lover per se, their Chardonnay is absolutely delicious... There is always a sense of "family" when you visit, and the history of the winery is very touching... More

After making wine for a few seasons with John and Mary-lee I felt as one of the family. They opened their winery up with the true love of Manga in the heart. They welcome every quest as family. Not to mention their wines are by far fabulous. Specialty favorite is the Cabernet/ Syrah blend, is my personal favorite. Dee and... More

My friend and I had the perfect time there for a wine and chocolate tasting. Pam was very friendly and knowledgable! Besides the wine tasting incredible (bought 2 bottles), the live music was great and Pam made sure we felt welcome. Don't lose her!

A lovely Sunday afternoon took us 35 minutes north to this quaint winery. We were met by a fire pit outside and friendly hostesses inside(Bella and Anastasia). Unfortunately they don't offer the menu right away and we found out by accident that they serve food. We split a panini- it was enough for two- with turkey, Apple, and Brie. It... More

Came with a large group of friends last weekend for a little birthday celebration. After first stopping at Preston Ridge on a cold, dreary fall day, we made our way over to this newbie and had the best time. They offer two different size tastings (5 or 7 wines) all which were great! And the staff was second to none.... More
