So many choices of coffee to taste "FOR FREE" we were greeted with a bright sunny smiles, friendly staff and a informative tour on the coffee plantation and how they were being made. We couldn't resist buying some of their healthy coffee! They range from Ginseng, Ginger, Lemon grass and etc.. too bad we miss the plantation walk due to a tight schedule! Say hello to the Luwak and little chickens roaming around!

interesting plantation - could see different plants- cinnamon, cocoa, coffee bean & then see how the coffee is made. A bit sad to see the luwaks caged up asleep. Great tasting selection of different teas and coffees. Nice photo opportunities with swings and heart shaped sculpture.

If you read Wikipedia about Luwak coffee, you will know the issue about the "farming" of civet cats for the coffee. I visited this place only because some of my travel companions were interested. I don't think the number of the cats they displayed in the cage. can support the scale of their sales of Luwak coffee, plus there are so many "Luwak coffee" places when we drove around Ubud. I don't want to make this review into a debate of animal rights, but I don't feel good about it. Only relief was, at least those cats they displayed looked healthy....

They have the defenseless animals caged up. The looks on their faces is heartbreaking. If you love animals and prefer to see them in their natural habitat, don't go here. This is the domain of people who like to treat animals as things for their amusement or leisure (in this case, the coffee addiction that affects so many people) and tourists feed the machine that keeps places like this running. Just go and look at the eyes, look deep into the eyes of these caged animals. And then ask yourself do I really want to support this and keep it running?

We stopped by here on our drivers recommendation to try the famous Luwak Coffee.
We saw a couple other plantations during the week and this one was our favourite. Great selection of coffees and also fresh fruit available from a separate seller on site.

Nice setting and the guy who took us through the small plantation was very friendly and informative explaining the process and coffee and tea fusions.

We wanted to visit a luwak coffee plantation and our driver took us to this place. We enjoyed complimentary drink and luwak coffee. We ended up buying some luwak coffee beans as a souvenir.
