I have had fun hiking with my family and dogs. Nice sights so bring a camera. Spring or fall are best seasons to visit. Trails can be muddy, so wear boots.

Southford Falls ia a beautiful park! my husband used to walk our dog there! she loved it; waterfall is beautiful when there is water in the pond.

A nice place to park and walk the grounds. There are a few picnic tables. Many wedding parties take their photos here.

Stopped in to see friends. Found them by the hot dog stand. This place is a beautiful spot to stop off get out & watch the falls. Take a walk over to the covered bridge & take the time to listen to the birds sing.

Great trails, dogs on leashes welcome. A few Handicap spots to fish. Hybatchis to bring set ups to cook on. Trout are stocked a lot of bullheads. Parking can be sparce if a nice day but can park along the road. Hike to the tower...More

If you are in the area, it is a great place to do a little hiking and enjoy the beauty of this state park. In good weather, it is a nice place for a picnic or just to sit and relax and take some photos.

My husband & I got engaged at Southford Falls State Park. We have family living in the area and always like hiking in this beautiful park when we visit. I recommend visiting and bringing the family for a picnic & pictures.

Nice short hike to the covered bridge, small pond for kid to fish. Can hike up to the watch tower. Great spot to take fall family photos.

That is correct.. You can bring strollers. There are family friendly areas for strollers as well hiking trails if you want a challange. Note.. Hourses walk the trails so don't be surprised if you see them. Please.. Watch... More

I have no clue. I have seen free grills for public use there. I would use what they provide and bring your own charcoal briquettes and plenty of lighter fluid. Don't forget to clean up after yourself! Enjoy.
