We thoroughly enjoyed this place. It is a beautiful and peaceful part of nature. I recommend walking over the footbridge to get the full impact of the gorge. The inscriptions are worth reading with the narrative about the Indians and the history of Norwich's early...More

Impressive falls, mostly off the radar -- but well worth the trip. There's a parking lot on the Yantic St. (east) side, which is a good idea; there is no good place to park on the Monroe St./Asylum St. (west) side, which is where Google...More

We absorbed the sound of the water falls and inhaled the air and scenic beauty! A lovely area to think and exhale!

A must stop to see Indian Leap at Yantic Falls. Just walk half way across the bridge and listen to the roaring falls and view the site of the historic Mohican battle.

Great view of the falls but treacherous in the winter. Enjoy the history and the gentle hike. Safe for kids and animals.

Beautiful falls, once you figure out where to park. Google maps sends you down a dead end street. Do Not take Monroe Street. You want to be on the opposite side of the river. Parking is off Yantic street, where it says Indian Leap on...More

We always do random road trips, and this was a real score on our latest adventure. We enjoy hiking, and love seeing waterfalls, so when in the Norwich area we searched in maps waterfalls, and that is how we found Yantic. When we put it...More

This falls is remarkable. Memorizing… it also has a great story, written up on the informational signage.
