Went to Mohegan with intent to check out CT breweries and Epicure was first on my list. Welcomed by Jenny - she’s an owner and one of the nicest people I’ve met in my travels. I had BDubs - a drinkable pale ale that lives up to being named for a loved one. Also tried the Kolsch - one of the best. Clean on the palate, crisp and refreshing. It’s a nice, open space. Comfortable. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. Great people with good beer as a priority - visit them!…

Was leaving Mohegan and heading back to Boston and very easy detour here made for a fun night. Great selection and staff and fun atmosphere. Would definitely return and look for their product by me!!

Stopped here with a group of friends and we enjoyed the beer flights served in the muffin tins. We played corn hole and had a great time. Very cool place to hang out. Municipal parking lot just a block or so down the street. However the highlight for me was the hard cider, it was delicious!!!…

This place is right next door to another brewery yet continues to grow. As stated by other reviewers the folks here are friendly. Usually 6 types of beer. You can buy the small sampler pack and grab a taste of all of them. They have a mug club for frequent patrons. You can bring in your own food as well. Could use a little more lighting as another reviewer stated. There is off street parking around the corner. The neighborhood is OK. Remember this is a city of over 40k. Not perfect but have never been hassled. I recommend this place to my friends. If you like craft brews this is great. I even like that Jason guy who is a co-owner. They try to help make you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Give it a chance. You will be glad you did :)…

This review was hard to rate as there were some really great things about the place and others not as much. First, for a brewery, there is a great selection of brews available in huge vats out in the open for viewing. Wine is also available. Prices are very reasonable. They encourage you to bring in food from surrounding restaurants or your own snacks. They are very supportive of the local community. They have a shelf filled with board games and it was fun seeing the groups having a brew over some heated competition. They have a really affordable mug club as well. On the down side, it is extremely dark in the place and did not seem as clean to me as it could be. Parking is terrible- on street which is difficult or a very small limited parking lot. The neighborhood is not the best area and I would not walk outside at night alone.…
