This was my third visit. Went with sister and a friend on a Friday afternoon. Pizza truck was there, and the pie was delicious! We all got a glass of wine, and all three were very good. They have a very nice patio area overlooking the vines. A very relaxed place, great servers.

We went on a Friday night..the parking lot was filled, luckily there was room for us upstairs to have a wine tasting. The son in law did a tasting, he was a delight and very friendly Later his wife came up to help as it was getting busier. Their son told us about the wine in Italian, we were impressed that a youngster was speaking Italian. Later we went downstairs to sit on the patio outdoors. We drank wine while eating the food we brought. Relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the owner coming over to speak to us. We will go back

We hadn't visited this vineyard in a few years. The entire experience was lovely! The pizza from the Friday night pizza truck was amazing and it was a genial, chill vibe. Good wines! The owner was so warm and attentive to everyone. A wonderful way to spend a Friday evening.

I've read some of the reviews of this place, and I must say I'm a bit baffled. Are they friends of the owner? Have they never been to another winery? The ratings are overly-generous, in my opinion. I've been to more than three dozen wineries in several states, so I have a basis of comparison, and I was unimpressed.

The winery was a quaint barn-remodel with a spacious picnic area outside. The winery does not serve food, but there was a pizza truck out front when we were there and they allowed food to be brought into the serving area. The bar area was tiny, serving no more than six people at the bar and about 20 in the entire seating area. There was a little girl (maybe eight or nine?) running around with filthy hands who was taking up one of the five tables in the area by painting rocks on the table--a strange sight for a place with a liquor license. The server gave a little background on each wine, but she did not seem very knowledgeable about wines in general. The wine was drinkable but not complex. The emailed receipt misspelled the vineyard name which speaks to the level of overall class of the establishment. To access the bar area, one must climb some fairly steep stairs, making in wheelchair-inaccessible. Also, I would never bring anyone here who had difficulty climbing stairs or walking. The bottom floor of the barn smelled strongly of stale alcohol, like a college bar. They provided a free etched souvenir wine glass with the $12 tasting. I will not return any time soon!

I don’t mind paying a premium for CT grown products and a number of wineries buy or grow their grapes elsewhere but I do mind overcharging. You can get much better Italian produced wines at much lower prices at any decent liquor store.

$22 to $32 is very pricey for Italian style wines that are not Barolo.

It would be great if the overlords of the state allowed the wineries, distilleries, and breweries to sell packages food like crackers, cheese, or fruit to at least make these places a destination.

I wanted to like this place, the area seemed nice, and the building was interesting. The tasting room is in a crowded upstairs area, and there was only one person working which made it annoying. The wines were average, and it was kind of cool that it's all one family. As we continued to look around after the tasting it seemed dirty, and uninviting. If they moved the tasting room, and cleaned up a bit (as well as removing the caution tape from the vine area) it could be a nice spot to hang out.

This was our first time here & I will be back for sure. It was a beautiful day and the vineyard was not overly crowded. We sat at a table in the grass & enjoyed a couple of bottles. You can enjoy by the glass or bottle. Wine is lovely. We had the Vino del Nonno which was full bodied with a dry finish. We bought a bottle to go which was True Uve. (3 grapes) Also a full bodied red. Prices ranged depending upon the type of wine. The two I have described were $31 & $33 respectively. Cash or debit accepted. My niece & her fiancé had a sweeter Rosé, which was refreshing. We brought a picnic basket of treats & enjoyed our company, the surroundings & of course the wine. I recommend that you check them out.

A great way to spend an afternoon. Great wine, we brought great food, and great friends. The outdoor seating was comfortable, and the service was quick. The location is ideal, less than a half mile from Northford center.

This is a lovely family run winery with a beautiful patio. My friend and I loved the tasting with 2 sisters and then the dad took over. The closeness between the sisters was so nice to see. And dad was very entertaining and informative.
