We enjoyed the wine tasting. The wine was some of the best in Connecticut. There was live music on a Sunday afternoon. Person doing the tasting was very knowledgeable.

Took a ride to Litchfield County and stopped at the vineyard. We had some nice wine, snacks & enjoyed the music on a Sunday afternoon. Ended up there for 3 hours. A fantastic place to visit.

Skip this place. I mean don't even drive by just find another winery. The place and views are lovely and that's where it stops. No personality or character what so ever. A group of us went for the wine tasting and it was over priced...More

I did not do a tasting here, so I cannot vouch for the wine quality. The tasting room is medium-sized, and the bar can accommodate at least a dozen. There was a small gift shop as well. The grounds were hilly, but lovely. Wines were...More

Spend an afternoon at the winery with a tasting, actually we got an education on wine, and enjoyed wine and then cheese and wine upstairs. Such a calming and lovely afternoon.

Wonderful wine tasting experience. Friendly, knowledgeable, and we found several nice wines. I really liked the Apple Cider wine.

If you are looking for wine tasting experience then pass on this. The place is really nice and quaint, the server is very nice and polite but that's it. The wines especially all the reds were terrible, 2 whites were drinkable but that can be...More

We wife and I did a road trip yesterday and stopped at a couple of Connecticut wineries. We thought Hopkins would be nice since it overlooked the lake. It is a very nice scene, but foliage was dull. Now for the winery. We did a...More

We've often gone to wine tastings and they can vary quite a bit. The women working at Hopkins were very friendly and knowledgeable. We found several of the wines to be really good and bought a few bottles before we left--but there was no pressure...More

Great vineyard on a very nice lake. The sommelier was pretty knowledgeable about her wares. Was a rainy day, and Monday, so only us and one other couple. Walked out back and enjoyed the seating by the pond. Overall a good experience.

I believe you can have food outside, but not inside. I'd suggest you call them.
