Must visit
Mar 2021 • Family
A lovely little island with facilities to stay, but nowadays facilities to stay have been shut down due to COVID. But that is not an issue as you can cover the island while staying at Bangaram islands which has much better accommodation. Do make a day trip from Bangaram, along with Thinnakara you can add in Parali island and turtle watch tour also. Do enjoy refreshing coconut water in Thinnakara and don’t forget to visit the light house beach for it’s amazing green waters and neat and clean beach , with no one around, enjoy it as your private beach. Do visit it .

Island of Thinnakara | 8 km northeast from Agatti, Agatti, India

Thinnakara Island and its resort offers the most quiet and peaceful stay in their lovely tent style rooms.Totally in love with this place! Serenity and peace at its max with abundance of nature all around. Keeping track of high n low tide timings helps- in low tide you can snorkle by the shore and even walk to Pareli island. Experiences to remember lifetime! Stay is comfortable n hygienic. Food was great. All in all....place to be one with nature!.Tents are basic, still amazing to enjoy the solitude, pristine white sand

Peaceful piece of land
Feb 2019 • Friends
Thinnakara Island and its resort offers the most quiet and peaceful stay in their lovely tent style rooms. Only 13 rooms on the island gives you the feeling of having a private island for vacation. Shares the same beautiful lagoon with Bangaram Island which is visible from the shores of Thinnakara island.

Lovely place and people, the island offers cool white sand beaches and bunch of water activities to do. Snorkling, Kayaking and some other fun stuff at a very reasonable price (probably the cheapest in the world)

I would rate my visit to Thinnakara as the best out of the 3-4 other beach destinations I have seen. Plan Lakshdweep, plan Thinnakara.

Memories for life time.

Beautiful island in Lakshadeep
Feb 2019 • Couples
Thinnakara island in Lakshadeep is a small beautiful island around 40-45 min boat ride from Agatti and around 15 min boat ride from Bangaram. This island is famous for the water sport. Airtel and BSNL mobile connectivity is available on this island. The SPORTS resort there offers comfortable tent stay with attached toilets

Amazing beaches
Jan 2019 • Couples
We went here for a few hours from Bangaram. Nicer beaches than Bangaram however, resort not as good, had friends that stayed and it is very basic as only tents, bathroom facilities not so good and food not as good either. Lovely island to visit for the day though.

Clear Night Skies and Beautiful Coral Reef Lagoon
Jan 2019 • Friends
Thinnakara is a treat reserved for very few humans. The remote island, has a beautiful lagoon separating it from Bangaram and Pitti islands. The resort is self sufficient and has tent accommodation each with individual green toilets. The uninhabited islands caters only to tourists and boasts of one of the best sunset and sunrise views on the planet. Ask for the Turtle Watching boat ride, Scuba Diving and Snorkelling.

Amazing experience
Dec 2018 • Friends
We visited thinnakara by boat from Bangaram. Typically takes about 20-30 mins. Make sure you spot the variety of corals, turtles, colorful fishes, and beautiful marine life on the way and back. The Island of Thinnakara is uninhabitated, except for a few rooms used by the tourists and the staff there. A walk around the whole island would take under 2 hours. the Island is so clean and the best of photographs were clicked here!
