Great place for live music of all genres.

Hadn't been to Cafe 9 in almost 10 years (moved over an hour and a half away). Went for a double-header on a Sunday. Saw a great singer-songwriter show at 4pm-6pm with Larry... read more

Hadn't been to Cafe 9 in almost 10 years (moved over an hour and a half away). Went for a double-header on a Sunday. Saw a great singer-songwriter show at 4pm-6pm with Larry Kirwan, Greg Trooper, and Joe Flood. Excellent show, full house. Then at 8pm-opening act with Mary and Mike, which led into an almost 2 hour show of... More

Have seen a lot of great shows here over the years. Music of all genres, live, 365 days of the year. Improved sound and layout with some renovations a few years back... A pillar in the local underground music scene for decades.

Small venue but worth seeing your favorite bands there. It will be an intimate experience. No food so eat first.

It's kind of small and can get very packed once the bands start playing. Great prices on drinks! Ok place for a local show.

Visited on the recommendation of a friend. They said best blues in town. Unfortunately, our night was a burlesque show. Guy collecting cover charge outside told us the show started at 9pm, once inside the waitress said the show would start at 9.30 or 9.45; the MC said the show would start at 10. Show started around 10:15. 4 performers;... More

Have seen a couple of shows here, spaced by several years, and in two different areas within the small venue. Very cool place for getting up close and personal with up and coming acts, as well as more established independent artists. Beer selection was good, but the place can get overly loud, and sometimes that can be detrimental to a... More

Funky little venue. Drinks were good and the music was awesome. Would definitely go again. Parking was fairly accessible.

Great place to see local up-and-coming bands. NSTs album debut was rockin. Great acoustics and selection of ales. Waitresses were helpful and busy. Considering the beer/dancing/loud atmosphere, the restrooms were very clean. Only $5 cover for a great time.

My last visit here was a pleasant surprise. With only a $5.00 cover I had no idea of the awesome Jazz experience on the other side of the door. The drinks were cheap and great and the Jazz musicians were outstanding. Not the cleanest/creme de la creme spot but really popping if you love Jazz music at its best
