Saw Cadlillac Crew on Friday May 4th. The cast was excellent and the play was exciting, moving, interesting, thought ( and conversation) provoking and visually captivating. The writer and the director with the help of 4 terrific women actors have tapped into a history that...More

Don't see a review that mentions this important feature if you need it. Do not be fooled by the steep stairs inside and out of the theatre building. Around the left side (not the front) is a door manned before and after the show with...More

We saw "Into the Woods" during Yale's commencement weekend. The production was superb. We loved every minute. I was grateful to be there. I felt like I was watching actors who would be making headlines someday. I will treasure the memory of this evening, and...More

My first visit to Yale Rep was to see Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour, part of the Arts and Ideas Festival. The show was brilliant! I was so glad I went. The place itself was nice. The staff/festival volunteers were friendly and helpful. The stage...More

The Yale Rep Theatre is a quaint, little theatre. I have enjoyed several of Yale's productions in this facility and have always had good experiences.

It was my first visit to the Yale Repertory Theatre and was very impressed. The theatre is a smaller size with great views from all seats. Seats are tiered well and comfortable. Saw an original play "Ermeni," by Eric Sirakian. It was well done! The...More

We returned to the Rep last night for the first time since law school years to see Familiar, which is making its world premier there. The play is terrific and I predict it will make its way to Broadway. The Rep remains one of the...More

We do not live in New Haven. We travel 2.5 hours to go to theater at Yale Rep and, of course, need to stay overnight. It's worth it. This is the program that spawned many wonderful actors and actresses, notably Meryl Streep. The plays run...More

Serious acting. Audience filled with up-and-coming actors. This is theatre. I saw a lean production of a play (again, ALL MY SONS by Arthur Miller) and it was a great improvement over the movie version with Edward G. Robinson.
