Yale is a beautiful college built within the city. Walk around and see the stunning architecture of the old campus. It’s right next to the New Haven Green as well.

The Yale University Campus is immense! Seems fairly walkable with opportunities to enjoy greenery throughout campus grounds. Very close to Downtown so lots of eating options and things to do.

We have visited a few campuses in different cities and as we were in Connecticut, we decided to go to New Haven and see Yale. It has that university feel you get in places like Oxford. The building are just amazing and the area has the vibrant feel. We enjoyed our visit and recommend it if you are in the area.

Yale University is one of the top universities in the world especially in Humanities, Art and Law with a beautiful campus. Most buildings are outmoded and historical since Yale University was founded in 1701, it is the third-oldest institution of higher education in the United States. The only complaint I have is the bad traffic around the campus that we couldn’t feel relaxed while walking around the neighborhood.

We were in NYC and we like to visit college campuses around the country. Took the train from GCT to New Haven and walked from the station to the Yale campus - if you call it that. A green square is the gathering place though at this time of year is was only homeless and peddlers. Lots of beautiful buildings and an inordinate number of churches. Didn’t feel like a united campus area and not a great choice of restaurants. Wouldn’t take the almost 6 hour round trip again.
