Quaint cozy and intimate wine testing. If you can do your tasting with the wine maker, that makes it all the better.

My wife and I enjoyed this very small and simple winery. Enjoyed speaking to the owner and hearing how he got started as well as some good insight and stories. Wines were decent, nothing overly impressive but did end up buying a bottle of the Marechal Foch. I would recommend a stop to enjoy some nice wine, good people and beautiful quiet surroundings.

Jerram is one of my favorite winererys. They have a great selection of red and whites both sweet a dry. The red Noreaster is one of my all time favorite wines. Mr. Jerram is not onlya great winemaker but also a great guy. My wia fan of red wine and he always gives her extra tastings of the whites. Bring a picnic lunch and buy a bottle and enjoy the beautiful property.

The staff at the winery were great. However, we did not enjoy the wine at all. This was one of the few wineries we visited where we did not purchase any wine and we weren't the only ones who left without a purchase after the tastings. The parking is challenging and someone with a physical disability might have issues.

We do the CT Wine Trail, the Winter Wine TRAIL and Coastal Wine Trail each year. So we visit each winery 2 to three times per year. Some wineries we visit more then that. Jerram has wines that for me are too dry but they do have a few wines that I like. Give it a try. You get to keep the glass too.

I did not like any of there wines. Even there sweet white was not sweet. It is also confusing when you pull in trying to figure out what building the wine tasting was in. I asked a man outside and he said he didn't know either it was his first time there. The staff was very friendly, but they seemed to like having more conversations with each other than the people there for tastings

Small winery, easy to get to. We were welcomed upon entering the winery tasting room. Our pourer was very friendly, knowledgeable and made it fun. Reasonable tasting of $7.00 plus glass, bought a bottle of Gentle Shepard(white) to drink out on the lawn with our snacks we brought.

This is a small, but cozy feeling winery with excellent staff. The winery itself is rather beautiful and has some seating for relaxing outside. The tasting room was set up like a large kitchen and added to the cozy feeling.

The wines themselves are a mix of dry and semi sweet with a dessert wine that is not available for sampling. I would put the wines as a mix of good and great but nothing that blew us away. We did take a gamble on the dessert wine since my sweet tooth can't say no and bought a few other bottles.

Overall, if you like dry and semi sweet wines, then this is a good winery to visit if you are in the area. Sweet wine fans may want to give this one a pass.

Stopped on the CT Wine Passport program. Tasting included six varieties and a souvenir glass poured in a tasting room that is a converted buttery. Charming setting. More low key than other places. Local artwork for sale. Do bring your own nibbles. Owner was pleasant and sharing about his journey to becoming a vintner. Wines here are dry with nice oak. I'd go back!

My wife and I really enjoyed the wines we tasted at Jerram Winery. This is a relatively small winery tasting room in comparison to others we have visited, but the wines were very good. there didn't appear to be a lot of room inside if things got busy, but in nicer weather there was some outdoor seating.
