Like being on a retreat!
Sep 2021 • Solo
What a unique place! I needed a mini retreat for the day and Grace Farms offered me the solace, serenity, peace, and beauty I needed. Lovely grounds, intriguing architecture, great birdwatching and delicious lunch in the Commons (at a great price). Will definitely be back for the fall forest walk!

An amazing private park that is free to the public!
Oct 2019
Such an amazing and unique place. Feels like you are at a private country club but it is actually a non-profit owned park that is open and free to anyone. Plan to spend a few hours to check it all out. We took our young kids for the Saturday art class ($10) followed by a hike and then lunch at the amazing cafeteria. The kids love running on the expansive manicured property. Good spot to fly kites on windy days.

The view is Amazingly Beautiful
May 2019 • Friends
Grace Farms is a perfect place for weekend getaway and the view is amazingly beautiful. The architecture which was built by the concept of river belt is magnificent and memorable.

There are also cafe, library, gym and place for picnic...etc in the farm, which is great for entire family. My favorite was the elegant library even with the limited book collection.

Relaxing Place, with a very interesting Tea house
Jan 2020
We visited Grace Farms on a Sunday. It was serene and calm, like going to the spa without getting wet!

We sat and had a tea and very much enjoyed a lesson from the tea-maven Brian. He was so knowledgeable about the varieties of teas they stock, as well as all the various methods of brewing the teas. I left with a whole new appreciation.

Visiting Grace Farms is a relaxing respite, you feel completely rejuvenated after just an hour or two.

Visited the complex to hear a talk on how to effect the elimination of slave labor in the construction industry. Many designers and architects were present. The talk was in the evening and the site plan, including curved glass structures arranged along a meandering glass circulation route was soothing, functional and beautiful. The juxtaposition of the existing renovated barn buildings to the new curvilinear structures which ascended and descended the topography is phenomenal. Getting to the lecture space at the top of the hill was as inspiring as the lecture itself. I recommend visiting this place for any reason at all....after sunset if possible!

Sooo Relaxing
Nov 2019
I came out to CT for a solo overnight trip and was searching for somewhere to visit that would be totally relaxing - this place was just that. I discovered the Sanctuary that is basically a huge auditorium-like space that has floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that gives you a wonderful view of the outdoors and nature. It was very peaceful - that is when the bigger groups and little kids weren't in there being a bit loud. It is supposed to be a quiet space to reflect and enjoy the serene moment. There are walking trails, a small library and an eatery on site as well. There is no admission fee but they do ask to scan your license when you drive up to the front entrance window. If you're into nature, you will enjoy this place. Also, there is ample free parking.
