Grace Farms is a beautiful, unique place to visit. Hearing that this nonprofit supplies the coffee and tea for the hotel where I stayed in Norwalk, I decided to visit. The property consists of several architecturally fluid buildings connected by walkways. These include an art gallery that highlights Grace Farms' sustainability and social justice efforts, a subterranean basketball court, library with a carefully curated collection of books, an event space, and cafe. My favorite area, however, was the Pavilion where I enjoyed a tea tasting by their master tea blender. The buildings are surrounded by 80 acres that include walking trails. Admission is free, but online registration for the day of your visit is required. Grace Farms is a wonderful place to visit, and I plan to return to attend one of their fall events!

Great facility with some problems. Night time walking can be dangerous. Lights shine up in your eyes from fixtures in the sidewalk. Gravel areas for roof water to go in are easy to step in at night. Water does not go in gravel area if windy, you can get wet. Don't sit on the mediation cushions, they are special and for show. For well attended events you have to take a shuttle bus from New York State because the town will not allow more parking (on a 70 acre lot).

Such an amazing and unique place. Feels like you are at a private country club but it is actually a non-profit owned park that is open and free to anyone. Plan to spend a few hours to check it all out. We took our young kids for the Saturday art class ($10) followed by a hike and then lunch at the amazing cafeteria. The kids love running on the expansive manicured property. Good spot to fly kites on windy days.

Visiting from the West Coast, our relatives in New York urged us to stop over at Grace Farms in Connecticut to experience something different.

Arriving late morning after some heavy traffic out of New York area, we found ourselves in the middle of budding flowers, green shrubbery, and nearby tall blooming trees. The birds welcomed us with their songs.

Our grandson enjoyed the fun puzzle activities for toddlers at one end of the subterranean glass-enclosed Court while older kids were playing basketball and badminton at the other end of the Court. There were side rooms where board games are available.

I delighted in being by myself with a cup of the green tea latte and a sweet pastry from the glass-walled Commons and reflected the beauty of the surrounding nature.

Afterwards, we all headed over to the Library for lecture on sustainability of the various wood used on the farm. The library offered more expansive views of the farm.

We continued our trek though nature via the River Building with no walls leading to the Sanctuary. This was our last stop to admire how the Sanctuary was build with a knowledgeable docent. Every seat in the Sanctuary had an unobstructed view of the performance stage.

The beauty of the farm is highlighted by taking a self-guided hike on the marked trails throughout the site.

With the limited amount of time spent here, we found a HEAVENLY HAVEN … at the Grace Farms at New Cannan, Connecticut.

Didn't bother going after doing a little background investigating. Although this "organization" does some good, they could do a lot more if the CIEIO's took a (large) cut in pay. The salaries the big shots make are obscene. And for doing what? I'm quite sure they have volunteers doing all the heavy lifting while they sit back and get all the accolades. I'm not the only logical one who sees through the thin veil of philanthropy only to see what's really going on. Google the "organization" and you'll what's going on. Where are all the minorities? And how come the white males are working demeaning, labor-type jobs? Are the people who grow and supply products to the "organization" union members? With real benefits? What a pathetic joke.

Wow. What an amazing place this is. The architecture is stunning of course but the feel and tastes of Grace Farms is what I really love.

You can leisurely stroll, stop in for some delicious tea (they have their own teas served by their own tea master, Frank!), enjoy a locally sourced meal with a rotating menu, and enjoy a really spectacular cup of coffee (sourced from women-led co-ops)!

If you are anywhere nearby Grace Farms is a must to visit with friends or family.

We visited Grace Farms on a Sunday. It was serene and calm, like going to the spa without getting wet!

We sat and had a tea and very much enjoyed a lesson from the tea-maven Brian. He was so knowledgeable about the varieties of teas they stock, as well as all the various methods of brewing the teas. I left with a whole new appreciation.

Visiting Grace Farms is a relaxing respite, you feel completely rejuvenated after just an hour or two.

Grace Farms is a perfect place for weekend getaway and the view is amazingly beautiful. The architecture which was built by the concept of river belt is magnificent and memorable.

There are also cafe, library, gym and place for picnic...etc in the farm, which is great for entire family. My favorite was the elegant library even with the limited book collection.

Such a tranquil and learned place! We had a delightful salad here for lunch, then walked among the buildings and relaxed in the library. You can buy or read the books while sitting in their comfortable seats. Fun underground gym. If I lived closer I’d be here a lot to relax and learn ! Wished there was a worship service when we were there. Beautiful space!

What a unique place! I needed a mini retreat for the day and Grace Farms offered me the solace, serenity, peace, and beauty I needed. Lovely grounds, intriguing architecture, great birdwatching and delicious lunch in the Commons (at a great price). Will definitely be back for the fall forest walk!
