This is not a museum. These guys are pressing apples to make cider using an old fashioned steam engine and you get to watch. If there's a break in the action they answer a few questions but otherwise, they are in work mode. I thought...More

Fresh donuts and fresh cider can’t be beat. Weekdays are best if you don’t like lines. Weekends are best if you’d like to sample their hard cider and wine.

Fun but crowded on Columbus Day. Free samples of their hard cider. Excellent bakery. Had their cider donuts and apple dumplings. Highly recommend both.

I have been taking my kids here for years. We don’t eat breakfast in anticipation of the hot fresh cider donuts. We wait in the long line among the tourists and locals and bees for the sweet deliciousness. My daughter and I were there yesterday,...More

A very quaint place to visit during the week. They press the apples on the weekends in the fall so we will need to go back to see that demonstration. We still did a tasting and browsed the store.

Took our grandsons 15 and 12 to see cider made. They enjoyed the experience and most of all enjoyed the cider doughnuts!

I have come to this place many times. This time I actually got to see them prepare and press the apples. It is absolutely worth the visit. If it is a cold day get some hot apple cider and apple donuts and watch them while...More

Love coming here and seeing how cider is made. Also vendors were selling locally produced items. Place was crowded and recommended to see if in the area.

My family went here recently and we were seriously disappointed with most of it. This has been a family tradition since my children were born and we are not sure if we will do it next year. It is wonderful to see the cider press...More

Clydes is usually open right up until Christmas and then closes until the following season. I enjoy going at the end because of their mark downs. A must see when visiting Southeastern CT in December!
