When planning our day in Mystic we wanted to add some time on the water to our activities. After checking TripAdvisor we decided that the afternoon sail on Argia sounded like just what we had in mind. We booked on line, arrived at the suggested time and had no problem finding parking, then you check in at their office and... More

If you are visiting the Mystic area you need to schedule a trip on the Argia Schooner. Granted we had a beautiful September day. The trip is about 2 1/2 hours and starts with a cruise around the Mystic Seaport. Even if you have toured the Seaport it is a neat experience to see the sites from the water. The... More

I'm a Mystic local and just sailed on Argia for the first time on 9/13. It was a beautiful evening with a brisk wind and it is great that it was BYOB! The captain was masterful navigating th narrow channel and the crew was charismatic and attentive. They gave out lap blankets due to the cool weather and told stories... More

The sightseeing was fabulous. The sailing...not so much. The crew was courteous and friendly, but the captain missed an opportunity to leave an impression! When the wind isn't blowing, you can't blame the captain for a lack luster trip. But on a PERFECT sailing evening in early September, when she opts not to raise the main sail, you CAN blame... More

As such, our professional captains will always choose the combination and number of sails to be raised based on wind conditions and comfort for all of our passengers and for the safety... More

We would like to thank Amy and the crew for a wonderful afternoon on 8/24. It was nice to see Mystic Harbor from a different view. We would highly recommend for anybody to spend a afternoon on the water.

We liked the stories, especially about the Kingdom of North Dumpling and how certain places in Fisher's Island Sound got their names. We went with some adults and 6 cousins, ages 6-14.

Late August sunset cruise. Very nice even though we had no wind. Crew was very nice. Sunset was very nice. Do it if you have time.

Great for family of 5 with 8, 10 and 12 year old kids. Lots of snacks. Crew is safe and knowledgeable of shoreline history and attractions. Fisher Island Sound is a nice place to sail and waves are/were in the 1 foot range. Very little boat motion for those with seasickness issues. Nice boat seemingly designed for short day cruises...
