Excellent aquarium. The sea lion show was hilarious. My wife and son enjoyed that the aquarium is half indoors and half outdoors with a mix of zoo and marine animals. We were happy to see that the aquarium is used as a backdrop for weddings.

This was our 2nd trip to Mystic Aquarium with our son, daughter-in-law & grandchildren, & did not disappoint. This time it was very crowded, but was still voted as 'cool'! Plenty to see, plenty to do with interactive displays, & an entertaining 4D cinema experience...More

The aquarium was definitely smaller but was a perfect trip for our 1.5 year old daughter and her age group. The whale and sea lion exhibits were the best by far. All other aspects of the aquarium were your normal aquarium fish displays. Good 3...More

Overpriced for the experience. Admission for Adults is $35, which is a expensive for what you get in my opinion. However, you can get a $10 discount if you buy a combo pass with the Seaport at the Seaport, but you have to ask for...More

We had a great time at the aquarium. But it cost us $90 for two adults and one child. Three drinks were $9 and lunch was over $40.

Went to visit the aquarium with my daughter and her 6 month old twins. There is enough room to negotiate a twin stroller. We went in a Friday morning so not as crowded as a weekend. Not as large as some other aquariums I've been...More

The Mystic Aquarium is your usual aquarium with the usual exhibits. Nothing special. Whales were the most entertaining out of all. But the keeper at the penguin exhibit was extremely knowledgable and friendly. She told us all about their stories and lifecycle. It was really...More

I was a bit skeptical about how this aquarium would be because it is a smaller one. We loved everything about it. Courteous workers everywhere that were very knowledgeable too! All the displays were really nice. We enjoyed our visit!

if crowds bother you, I'd go with Maritime. They Mystic Aquarium is indeed lovely and very kid-friendly but because of those things, it's usually wall-to-wall with people, particularly field trips with lots of kids, and not... More
