This is such a nice aquarium to visit with kids, I remember going here when I was young to to come back again brought back all my fond memories! The beluga whales are the stars of the aquarium and the animal rescue center, they are a teaching aquarium too. The price is a bit high but I felt well worth... More

it may not be the biggest aquarium, but the Mystic Aquarium is big enough to seem worthwhile (realizing aquariums are not cheap - the Baltimore Aquarium charges $40 for non-kids). Loved seeing the Beluga whales up close as the whales seemed to be playing with us - I am guessing the Belugas are a favorite of many attendees. This is... More

We had fabulous weather at the aquarium today. The park is very clean and the staff were all helpful and friendly. The bird feeding exhibit was lots of fun! My son was patient and finally was able to coax one of the parakeets onto his finger to continue feeding off of the millet seed sticks. The park layout is well... More

This aquarium is awesome and so much fun. It has quite a few activities and exhibits to partake in and actually get hands on. So good for kids from young to older. The sea lion show is also a lot of fun as well. Love it everytime we go!!!

Small but great aquarium! Clean and well maintained. Caring and knowledgeable staff! You can get close up to the belugas and sea lions with the underwater viewing area! Many touch pool activities with small sharks, Rays, and crabs! Great family experience! Must do in Mystic!

G-parents have membership so kids (three boys 8 thru 12) go every summer we visit Mystic. Exhibits change so make sure to check back if you saw last year and are thinking of passing by. Food is $$$ so bring your own / snacks if possible. Marine Mammal show is fun for the kids and more interactive than strolling the... More

I have been to a lot of aquariums since my toddler loves fishes. But this aquarium was by far the least favorite of mine. The day we went there was a lot of people. You couldn't walk inside exhibits with an open stroller. (Mind you stroller isn't big)Kinda annoying, I had to stand on the side unable to look at... More

I didn't think it was all the hype made it out to be, but I still had an enjoyable time. The aquarium itself is well laid out and spacious, but I can see the people are coming from who complained about crowding. Some of the viewing areas were tight. Went in March so we didn't have a problem.

A very nice place. We went early (when they opened) based on previous reviews for the week stating that it got crowded. It definitely did by noon but we had been to most exhibits by then. It seemed a bit pricey for how small it was but we all had fun. Loved the sea lion show. Feeding the birds was... More
