This aquarium was desolate and almost out of business, as it seemed. Many outdoor attractions were closed and indoor attractions were barely passable. Yet it charges full fees at the gate. Why??? If you are going to act like you are closed for business you should not charge money.

It's very impressive, but it did not start out to well. I took my family and friends here and went at the end of November and it was about 40-45 degrees out. The teenage girl at the ticket booth refused to honor my friends military discount. Their website clearly states military veterans can show their DD214 form to receive their... More

Its a small aquarium, nothing close to NE Aquarium or any of the major ones. I went in November so i expected them not to have to many exhibits. The price I feel it a lil high $36 (when compared to NE Aquarium $26). Other than that, it was nice spent about two hours there.

Our family loves to visit aquariums and have visited many across the USA. The Mystic Aquarium is unique in that is it laid out like an amusement park. Much of it is outside and exhibits are easily followed by a map. Docents are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and the beluga whales were a family favorite. I would give it a... More

My favorites were the belugas, sea lion, and mooray eels. Lots of cool sights here, and the 4-D Ice Age movie was surprisingly good!

Our favorite part was interacting w the belugas. They are so cute and friendly. Kids loved it and so did grown ups. It's expensive. Get great coupons at charter bank. Don't need to be a customer. Just walk into bank and grab them. If you found this review helpful click helpful below.

The Beluga pool design is exceptional, and photogenic. Robert Ballard, the discoverer of the Titanic, has his small submarine here. With many exhibits indoors, it was a good rainy day retreat.
