Lots of quaint shops and places to eat. When couples with the seaport, you will have a full day. The shops are unique, not your run of the mill.

I was staying at the Hilton across the street and accidentally found this while walking around. Cute general stores, fresh fudge shop, restaurant, a lot of different things but mostly window shopping. Beautiful trees in the fall

Old mystic village is free. It is a shopping village with many eclectic changing shops. They now have a brewery in premise for a nice break
