Very good temple but we have to know timings because few events are at afternoon some people come at morning will wait till afternoon so call them and enquiry about events before hand priests are good sitting in temple will presence of mind u will feel peaceful for few days . my recommendation 512 rs darshanaam is good it will take 2 and half hours including u will spend 30 min near god statue for newly wed couples kalyanam event is good happens around 12 so we have register for it till 10:30 amount is 1024 it is also very good .
Many people who have child issues come to this temple . only problem i see is many Christians who claimed to hindus got jobs in temple as workers u see them in free meals section as services my request please dont take free meals coupons at temple .temple offers free meals coupons to 512 and 1024 darshanam people. When we went for free meals. Food is good but servers as i said are Christians they got jobs illegally they claim they are hindus but in reality they are Christians when supervisor are not available they wear cross and insult people while serving food they do it make sure people dont come again and lose faith i was mentally disturbed seeing. them insult many people and they treated rich people like beggar .my request enjoy temple but dont go for free meals seeing those people itself is waste of time.

Dec 2018 • Family
This temple is located in Mopidevi which is near Repalle town. Temple is devoted to Lord Subramanya Swamy. There is separate parking facility provided for pilgrims. There will be huge rush during weekends and it is better to go there on weekdays. There are various types of poojas performed here. People also go here for shaving their head.

Temple is very much neat and cleanly maintained by the Andhrapradesh endowment department.

Winter season is very good to visit. And also very much helpful local people to the new pilgrims.

At last powerful god is lord Subramanyeswara Swamy. Make belief and visit once you never forgot. Helpful merciful Lord.

Temple in a village with strong belief
Feb 2016 • Family
This temple is situated in a small village called Mopidevi and is dedicated to Subramanya Swamy. Many people visit this temple to perform various poojas like Nagadosha Nivarana, Namakarna, Annaprasana etc. It is believed that couples who perform Naga Dosha pooja here are blessed with children. After buying the Naga Dosha ticket at the counter, you need to perform Gomatha Pooja (Cow Pooja) and proceed to the gate and take the pooja samagri. Complete your pooja and then pour milk on Lingam through special entry (which costs 10 rupees) and go for darshan. You can buy quick darshan ticket for 20 rupees. Temple is near Avanigadda and is about 10 kms from Repalle and 1.5 hours from Vijayawada.

Mopidevi--Lord Subrahmanya Temple
Jan 2014 • Family
Mopidevi is a village and mandal in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. A famous temple dedicated to Sri Subramanyeswara Swamy is located here. Mopidevi is located at a distance of around 80 km from Vijayawada and 30 km from Machilipatnam.

It was my long wish to visit this temple. Though I have come to Vijayawada number of times, I had never thought of visiting this place. This time, when I came down to Vijayawada, in January 2014, I had determined to visit this temple and accordingly I made it.

.According to a legend or Sthala Purana, the Lingam is a self manifested (Swayambhu) one. Veeravarapu Parvathalu, who was a potter, was a great devotee. Pleased with his devotion the Lord once came in his dream and asked him to dig up the anthill to find his Lingam in the village of Mopidevi. Parvathalu told about his dream to the villagers and dug up the anthill at the place indicated in his dream. Surprisingly, they found the Lingam which was placed on the anthill and they began to worship. He prepared the idols of Horse, Nandi, Cock and Garuda which are very dear to Lord Subramanya Swamy with clay.. He prepared the idols and baked them in the Bhatti ( furnace) in such a fashion that they never lost their original forms.

The temple in Mopidevi is attracting number of pilgrims all over AP and other South Indian States. A strong.belief is that if couple sleep here for one night in the temple they are blessed with children.

.Mopidevi is in the Vijayawada-Avanigadda roadline. There are number of buses from Vijayawada to Avanigadda. It takes around two hours from Vijayawada in bus via Kankipadu, Vuyyuru, Pamarru and Challapalli. Vijayawada-Nagayalanka buses also go through Mopidevi.

Alternatively, share autos are available from REPALLE railway station directly to MOPIDEVI temple. It takes hardly 20–30 minutes. This is the best option for those who prefer Train (Guntur/Tenali to Repalle) over bus. However, we went on our own transport to save time and spend more time at the temple.

The main reason for the Devotees to visit, is to nullify the negative effects of Sarpa dosha, Rahu, Ketu dosha., by worshipping Lord Subrahmanyeswar at Mopidevi..
