This outstanding liberal arts college has some interesting architecture, but more importantly, a stroll through the campus can give one a feeling of the uniqueness of this American institution that is probably without parallels in the world.

My daughter and I went on a tour of Wesleyan University. Unfortunately, it was a rainy winter day and that probably influenced our experience. The campus has an interesting mix of modern and older buildings. Our tour started at the Admissions area and auditorium and...More

The campus is actually gorgeous and a great place to walk around. They do have several free concerts and shows going on throughout the year that you can find by looking on their website which is opened to the public.

Greatly over-rated institution. It contributes little to the community in which it is located. The student body tends to come from highly troubled families.

Wesleyan University is a 4-year liberal arts school located in Middletown, CT. It is 20 minutes from Hartford, 40 minutes from New Haven, and 2 hours from both New York and Boston. It's campus is nice. Very quiet. Good for high-schoolers looking at potential schools.

Wesleyan campus is spread over several streets in Middletown, so much that the roads are public. Many buildings are quaint and historic.
