Basilica Maria Radna has a impressive architecture and it is one of the most visited churches in the western part of Romania, especially among Catholics. If you arrive in Lipova, then you should not miss it!

The history of this place, the renovation that was heavily applied and the original atmosphere that is still kept, bring things to life every time we visit.

The "renovation" of this building is horrible. The antique exterior appearance is not being maintained; the "craftsmen" - the age of my children - are doing substandard work, which will begin deteriorating at the next rainfall. Fortunately, the interior is surviving intact... for now.

I would say this is one of the top attractions in Transylvania ! Well worth a visit. It is being completely renovated in 2014-15 and it should be amazing when the renovation is complete.
