I visited Uncle Robert’s this evening. Upon my arrival I was greeted by someone who told me that the market and everything has been canceled. However, a good band was playing on stage, with lights and professional sound system. I tried standing and watching the band, and I was enjoying the music. The same man returned to shoo me away saying that everything is canceled. Others were allowed to stay and enjoy the music. It seemed to me that the live music is only for locals.…

A great place! Beautiful location, interesting people, many great and reasonably priced food stalls, lots of cool craft stalls. Plus live music Wed and Sat! Fun! And you're supporting local folks.

Our Hawaiian friends took us here to experience some of the local color. It's a weekly (Wednesday nights) farmers market / arts and crafts fair/food court along with Hawaiian music and dance. It's off the beaten path and probably not high on the priority list of must-see/must-do for the average tourist.…

Uncle Robert's Wednesday night has become a local tradition. Imagine a farmers market combined with a craft fair combined with a bar and an international food Court. Throw in live music and dancing and there you have it. Great fun.
