Good for those who appreciate natural phenomenon
We were 2 families with teens visited this place. Before going there you need to understand this place is not where you will experience anything exotic. 1 famous for rann of Kutch, understand the background of why and what is happened and then you will be able to appreciate the nature and how different it is from other areas. Weather will be harsh, only pleasant from Nov to Feb. there are different tents, they provide different entertainment if you have children with you. Otherwise before going there watch YouTube videos, understand geography of that place and visit

    Expensive but worth every penny.
The package includes everything. You just need to pay for the travel to bhuj. They provide food, accommodation, local sightseeing, night shows. The food is a nice spread with authentic ànd diverse gujarati cuisine for breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner. Warm hospitality, nice management. The salt desert is a pretty romantic place. They take you there first by bus, then by camel carts, which is pretty cool. Also, the night show is amazing. It's a live performance by a serious of artists followed by garba. On the way back, they took us to Smriti van, the earthquake museum in Bhuj. It is worth the visit. It has a serious a halls with mind blowing short shows.

When nature makes you feel like a speck
Good Evening. The Rann Of Kutch was surreal. The wide expanse of infinite white with the full moon rising is a humbling experience. The camel cart ride from the gate to the desert start was fun. Please remember to book your tickets of Rs.100 per person online to avoid long queues. One thing that is really pathetic and upsetting the washroom outside the white desert. Stinky, dirty and no water. It is a big tourist place with thousands visiting it every day. A clean washroom with running water is mandatory . There are so many toilets but in a terrible condition. Seriously hoping the authorities, wake up to this issue and solve the problem.

Desert Dreams: My Journey through the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat - A must visit place!!
Exploring the vast expanse of the Rann of Kutch was a surreal experience. The endless white desert seemed to stretch out infinitely, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. Witnessing the ethereal beauty of the salt flats during sunrise and sunset was truly mesmerizing. The vibrant culture of the region, with its colorful attire and lively folk music, added another layer of richness to the experience. Camping under the starlit sky, surrounded by the tranquil silence of the desert, left an indelible mark on my soul. Overall, my time in the Rann of Kutch was a journey of discovery, filled with unforgettable moments and breathtaking landscapes. The Government organises the Rann of Kutch festival from November to February. The best time to visit is January or February.

Colour Craft & Comfort Food !
Mesmerizing & just gorgeous. The Road trip from Ahmedabad to Bhuj with the Rann Utsav on the White Rann of Kutch. Unforgettable for the Colour , Craft, Food and Rustic flavours. The Sunrise & Sunset is picture perfect. Still unspoilt by commercial tourism. If you don't already have it on your Bucket List..... add it now

Very nice place. Miles after miles no habitation and covered with white salt. We covered both Rann of Kutch and Kalo Dangar in 5 hours. We started from Bhuj at 2 pm for Kalo Dangar and then visited Rann of Katch. I will advise you to take some more time for these two spots, otherwise you have to hurry up. Carry food items and water with you. There are seating arrangements where from you can enjoy the music concerts of various local artists. Carry one extra pair of socks/shoes as your shoes can get wet by the mud underneath the salt. There is shops for marketing and eating also but that is 1 km before the main Rann of Kutch.

Wonderful experience of walking on salt during the sunrise and sunset, especially during full moon night. The premium tents, food and hospitality is great. You can do the planned activity or plan your own by hiring a private vehicle from the tent city. Would suggest 2nights/3days is enough to enjoy it. Also, it was so cold that we did not need the A/C.

Friends, Rann of Kutch is a must visit place. We have visited using services of White Rann Resorts. They make sure that your trip is comfortable and memorable and also take care of you and your family. I strongly recommend to avail their services if you are planning to visit Rann of Kutch.

The best time to visit is from November to January. You can plan for 2 N and 3 D. Bhuj is the nearest railway station to Kutch. After deboarding the train the camp of White Rann Resorts at station premises will be there to assist you.

It will take approx 2 hours to reach Kutch from Bhuj. In the evening you can enjoy sunset and also sunrise next day. There are lot of functions also in the night in the premises of White Rann Resorts.

Hats Off. Kutch nahi dekha to kuch nahi dekha.

Had been wanting to go here for a long time. The experience starts from Bhuj station. There was a reception for those staying in tent city. We were a big group & stayed at another resort.
The Rann next to tent city was lively with camel carts ,lots of people & a canteen serving tea & bhajias kind of.
The Rann was a huge expanse of white & we moved to an area where there were not much people behind...in order to take pics.
The sand beneath was still wet in some places & 2 girls' legs went in the black sand below,so you still have to be careful.

We went on full moon day, so expected a beautiful sight. It was beautiful, but not so great as the ads describe.
Overall, like or dislike, but Should definitely do once.

The Great Rann of Kutch - A must visit natural wonder. Far away from the city’s concrete jungles, white Rann looks amazing at sun set coupled with colourful Kutchy culture, dotted with carts and camels in multiple vibrant colours.

The Government organises the Rann of Kutch festival from November to February. The best time to visit is last week of January or February.

Cleanliness could be better on paths etc. Eating joints were in pathetic condition.

On Monday 25/1/2021) set out on a 900 Kms motorcycle ride to the Great Rann of Kutch. After a overnight stay in a hotel rode the next day and after first visiting "Kalo Dungar" at approximately 1330 hrs reached the "White Desert" in Dhordo .The residential tent city camps were erected on the outer boundary of the main Rann Utsav Festival venue.Beautiful to the human eye.It was a short ride along a narrow central road decked with flag decorations from the main entrance gate to the entrance to the " White Desert".Awesome decor and ambiance with the first sight of the " WHITE DESERT" shocking me with delight .The desert ground adjacent to the cemented Rann Utsav avenue was lined with camels, camel carts, pony's and a few local Kutch artists singing songs and dressings tourists in local Kutch attire for photo shoots.I ventured far from the main venue ground onto the glistening white sand desert and honestly haven't seen a panorama of this magnitude. As the crowd was minuscule felt I was alone in the midst of a white carpet of salt desert that resembled snow.Filmed photo's and video's and later approached a local troupe of Kutchi folk artists who were also offering pony rides for a photo shoot of me sitting on a pony. This was one of the few locales in the World let alone India where salt was the terrain firma and not mud, cement, grass etc.In the evening at dusk it got crowded with tourists on camel and horse rides.Got to fly a kite on the "White Desert". Watched the "SUNSET" as well as the Moon rise. It was a Full moon night and the white desert glistened in the twilight. Have to visit once in your lifetime .

I recently stayed at Evoke - Tent City Kutch and was deeply disappointed with my experience.

For the money we paid (Rs 20,000 per night), we expected more than just a bed and a place to sleep in freezing temperatures. Despite the fact that the temperature had dropped to 6 degrees, there were no basic amenities such as a heater or even hot water in the basin. Mismanagement was very much evident everywhere.

Even though they made an effort to enhance the outward appearance of the place, it did not make up for the lack of basic facilities and hygiene.

And, given the management's attitude, I doubt that even this review will compel them to improve their service and facilities.

We, three couples, taking a trip together after a long time stayed in the Deluxe tents and were happy to spend a couple of nights here. The tents were comfortable, well furnished, air-conditioned, very clean and also had clean toilets with hot and cold water.
We were very well received and directed to our tents quickly and efficiently. The service was polite and respctful and helpful. Though the distance to the restaurant was not short, electric carts were available.
Had a great time visit the white sea and watching the sunrise and sunset.
Very pleasant atmosphere.
