This is a trail system that we frequent especially in the fall. The trails are well marked and mostly well maintained. It would be great to see a scout troop do a service project at the summit to clean up the litter. There are plenty...More

Case Mountain is buried deep in a beautiful section of Manchester. It's one of those "hiding in plain site" kind of places. I wondered why there weren't more people hiking there. I have been there several times over the last 5 years and it is...More

At the base of the mountain is the recently re-landscaped waterfalls and stone bridges. You can get very close to the falls here. The sound of the rushing water, the sight of the tumbling falls and the glacial stone is classic New England. There are...More

We walk here several times at least yearly and it's always a good day and time. We even walk with our kids and their dogs. Sometimes we bring a lunch to eat at the top. Everyone you meet is friendly.

Whatever the season the view is awesome. It's well worth the climb. Just remember to wear good shoes, layers and bring water. Actually we packed a lunch & sat gazing to the North looking at the mall. Descending is more challenging than the climb up....More

You'd never guess you'd get treated to a wonderful view of Hartford once you hike up this paved path. Not the most enjoyable views on the way up, but once there, you can stroll around the top.
