I really enjoyed this tour. Many vineyards stick to traditional methods of wine making but not here. These are innovators, pushing the boundaries and paving the way for other vineyards to follow. From he science research into the soil, to the cement vats in place of steel or oak barrels, they have pride in what they do. I did get the impression the venue was the showpiece with plenty invested in the grounds, architecture, restaurant and facility. Many of the vat lids were up so we either arrived during transition or the main work is being done elsewhere and this place was purely focused on the visitor's experience. Not only was I the only man on the tour for the tasting but I was also the only english speaking person. The guide noticed early on that my Spanish wasn't great so she would always take the time as we were moving to the next place to catch me up and answer all my questions in english. I really appreciated this as it wasn't the case on other Bodega tours. They demonstrated the changing flavours of the wine when drinking the same wine with cheese and something sweet. This was very well done and made me approach pairing differently since returning home. I left this tour totally impressed. They understand that taking the time to showcase your brand with a beautiful venue means the impression remains that they must give the same attention and care to making wine. Striving for perfection and the best possible experience.

We visited Zuccardi Uco Valley for the tour and lunch (Piedra Infinita Cocina). The bodega is magnificent, beautifully designed inside and out, to compliment the setting. We had one of the best winery tours ever. Alluvial soils from the Andes result in diverse terroirs. We were shown two 4 ft. deep holes – 6 feet apart - the first with many large rocks white with calcite, and the next very few rocks, no calcite. Geological remote sensing is used to map soil makeup within each Zuccardi vineyard. We learned of Geographical Indications being established which will help consumers identify some of the best quality wines. Lunch was wonderful with great wine pairings. Your hotel can assist you with a remis driver for your visit. For winery reservations email Reservas@piedrainfinita.com The Zuccardi family is doing wonderful things. We also went to their Maipu location (see Bodega Santa Julia) for lunch (Casa del Visitante) and learned about olive oil production (Zuelo) and other innovative endeavors.

Beautiful winery, it's amazing how they built the winery, the materials and their innovation. We really enjoyed our tour and taste of wines but we expected that the tour guide could have been more friendly, she didn't even say hi to anyone on the tour and the receptionist wasn't to friendly either... but the rest of the place, really really amazing.

Being used to "tasting" we ordered 2 tastings of 3 Bottles each, plus they generously offered us 2 more to try. Full bottles opened just for us and we served ourselves. OMG look at the photo! We had a personal tasting with each wine described as we sat on a beautiful patio with views of the vineyard and the Andes. Just WOW! Afterwards we staggered with a host who gave us a private, short overview of their impressive operation. Such individual service! All arranged by Matias of Vitis travel = you should book with him for sure!

Wonderful chef wine paired lunch overlooking this state of the art vineyard in Mendoza. Tour afterwards of the grounds and their history and process were great! Top 3 things to do in Mendoza

The winery and the view is spectacular. But the food and service leave that bitter taste for the visit. We went with a large group after driving for almost 1.5 hrs. The staff was not the friendliest, the food was good, but scarce. There were two appetizers, both with significant amount of vegetables, when we were expecting something more. The main course is fantastic but we had to request for more otherwise they would not bring. The dessert was boring and could not choose anything else. We noticed every time we asked for a bottle of wine they had to go ask the boss. Not what I was expecting from an upscale high priced package. We did not feel welcomed and do not recommend for a large group.

What an archirtecture! Whar a lunch! And beautiful wines to go with it!
This is big producer that manages to produce wines that usually the smaller family winyards produce, personal and sincere, not only power that overtakes the finess.

Situated about 75 minutes south of Mendoza, this is one of the newest winery's in the world and state of the art in their approach to making microclimate wines focusing on integrating wine making with the natural environment around them.
