Nina was the guide for our group (7 adults and 2 children) and right from the start she made us feel comfortable with a wine taste before we started. She speaks English, Spanish and Catalan (as well as other languages!) and was really friendly and kind to the children in the group. Normally they don't take tots in the afternoon but made an exception for us and we didn't feel rushed at all. We had the place to ourselves and we could sit around as long as we wanted when the your finished. Thanks Nina and well done Sumarroca!

I recommend Bodegas Sumarroca for the good treatment received by the team and very professional. The visit to the winery and its explanations as they elaborate the Cava transmitted with affection. They delighted us with an outstanding Cava Sumarroca Brut Reserva 2015. We will be back. Thank you so much.

We have had the most amazing time visiting this bodega. Mostly because of the unforgettable tour and the enthousiastic way Helena told us everything about the grapes and the bodega.
Left with the most delicious cava's and wines and certain to order more when we are back home!

We've been living in Barcelona for just over a year and have made a visit to Sumarroca a regular highlight when we have friends and family visiting. It's within easy reach of Barcelona and is well worth the 1hr train journey out to Sant Sadurni D'Anoia.
We were lucky enough to meet Mercè earlier this year and it's been an absolute pleasure visiting her family's vineyard. The wine is exceptional - the Terral is delicious - and the cava is the faultless. I wasn't a fan of rosé cava before, but I'm converted now!
If you want to see a proper bodega and a family run business this is where to come. We look forward to seeing you again Mercè.

Small but lovely bodega!
They also have a little shop with all their wines and other stuff like olive oil.

We were there collecting grapes, staring at it, watching the whole process and then tasting the typical food and wine of the area. Beautiful day, special thanks to Merce (one of the oweners)
