Great place for an afternoon stroll! Grounds are well kept. Outhouses available in main parking lot. Several benches & picnic tables along the way. Trails could be better marked. Otherwise, a wonderful way to enjoy the great outdoors!

It's off the beaten path and worth the drive. The grounds around the house were freshly mowed the day I was there. There's a meadow with enough room to fly a kite, I bet. The flowers planted near the house were so pretty. A friend...More

Spent the morning here wandering the meadows and enjoying the sunshine. We got a tour of the house as well. You can walk miles of trails and even do a little geocaching while there. A perfect half day activity.

It did not cost anything for my family to go into Topsmead, so I really don't know if you even need a pass. There may be a fee to see the house but I walked all the trails.
