Best track in the East

This track is beautiful and expertly managed. It's as much fun to be a spectator as well as a driver.

At Lime Rock Park you can still get very close to cars at speed without 25 foot tall catch fencing in the way - the natural berms or constructed hills allow great viewing of road racing. IN the 40 years I have been going to LRP there have been tons of improvements to the facility. Many are for the 'well... More

Hats of to Mr Barber for building such a wonderful track for all car enthusiasts to learn how their cars handle and educate all to be better drivers. Whether your auto crossing or racing the whole track you will love it here Go prepared with water/pop/food etc because you never know what is available or working. There are restrooms and... More

My husband comes here for track days with Track Time for Cars/Team ProMotion, and it is a fun track. I often hang out in the paddock and enjoy the scenery. If you are here for a track day, and want to see most of the track, climb the hill in the middle and go to the far end from the... More

There was also a Highlands Games event going on in the park. So we got to see a bunch of men in kilts and do a bit of shopping.

Relaxing fun day, plenty of lawn seating on amateur day. Bring your own chairs and food. Snack bar was available but the food was ok not great.

Lime Rock Park is one of the oldest tracks continually raced at in the Northeast. Owner, Skip Barber has put a lot of money into recent refurbishments which have improved the paddocks and the grounds, though unfortunately those improvements also removed the existing showers there which makes those who want to camp out there on race weekends a little less... Had a blast. As a first-timer at seeing racing, I had a great time. Family rented an RV and stayed in the RV portion. Most of the driving teams were friendly and invited us into their work area to get a closer look and pictures of the cars. The only improvement would be better training for staff on check-in procedures... More

I had not been here in over 35 years and was amazed at what Skip Barber and his team have done with it. BRILLIANT job! If you want a sports car facility that is clean, well maintained and a staff that goes above and beyond, you found it here. The restrooms were impeccable over the 3 days I spent there.... More

Went to a first-time race with two teens - 14 and 18 yr old daughter and son on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend . The venue was easy to access (only 80 mi from upstate NYC suburbs). Parking was convenient and close to the viewing areas. The race events were exciting and the park offered a wide variety of viewing... More
