STEP INTO THE TROPICS AND BRING A SAMPLING HOME
Oct 2019
My wife and I visited Logees' Greenhouses on recommendation of a high school biology teacher. GOOD ADVISE! Having traveled extensively throughout tropical South America, strolling through Logee's brought back memories of prominent and rare plants. While some are for display, most are available to purchase. My wife selected three beautiful and unique plants for our kitchen garden window. The assortment of pumpkins was reasonably priced. I found an awesome oblong pumpkin weighing 57 pounds. (see attached picture). Highly recommended.

Always worth a visit!

A really great place to visit! Logee's always has something new and interesting to see! Our favorite time to visit is in the winter...when those winter doldrums have you down and out, there's no better medicine than a trip to Logee's!

1st visit there they have some cool different plants. Lots of stairs and small aisles. Clean restrooms. Parking lot is small and was full on a Tuesday.

Best greenhouse I've ever visited
Jun 2019 • Couples
Logee's is amazing. It looks like a tiny place from the street, but it's a huge complex of greenhouses - orchids, succulents, fruit trees, all kinds of exotics, herbs, ferns . . . It's a wonderful trip for anyone who loves plants. The plants themselves aren't cheap, but they're top-quality. Remember if you buy there: these plants are being grown and cared for in an ideal environment. You will probably give them less than an ideal environment at home. They will droop, and sometimes (sadly) they will not thrive. But I have had much happiness with things I've bought there, and a trip to Logee's is always fun and interesting.

Winter Pick Me Up

Logee's is a place to visit during cold months of winter. The tropical plants easily chase away the winter blues.

Best greenhouses
Mar 2019 • Friends
This place has a huge variety of indoor and outdoor plants. Very helpful staff too. It’s a treat wandering the several greenhouses and taking in the variety of large (including a very old lemon tree) and small plants. They also sell pots, fertilizer, everything you could want or need. They will also pot your plants for you.

Logee's is going to be a Annual Visit!
Feb 2019 • Family
My husband and I visited Logee's last year for the first time, we knew then we had to come back with the kids. So during the winter break we did a day trip with the boys ~ THEY DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE!

The boys who are teenagers I think got more out of the greenhouses than most adults do. They kept taking pictures and going back and forth through the 6 greenhouses and were begging to take some plants home. they were thrilled that they could re-pot their treasures right there.

Ohhhh and they are constantly changing their inventory so there is always new surprises which is a great thing.

I have yet to go during the spring or summer months ~ looking forward to a day when we can. I know my boys are also excited about a future visit.

Wonderful greenhouses and selections

Please do not be mad. I would have given Logee's all five point rating. The reason I am taking off one point is due to its difficult, narrow, wet, dangerous, and at times obstructed stairways and walkways to navigate around all the greenhouses. At times, one has to duck and avoid being hit in the head by pots, planters, plants, irrigation pegs, etc. Logee's is definitely not accessible-friendly.
Logee's was on my to-do list that we made a special trip all the way down from Maine to visit it. Logee's has many unusual and unique plants. I would definitely come here again (and again) if I am in the area. And of course, in this visit, I walked away with some plants!

Fight away winter gloom

I absolutely love coming here! It's an hour and a half drive for me,yet I come here regardless of whether or not I'm looking to buy anything. The history of the greenhouse and the plants are wonderful, the staff is amazing and I can usually kill a couple of hours here just looking at all of the wonderful plants. No matter what season you visit, there's always something blooming. I myself am partial to unusual plants and Logees doesn't disappoint! I constantly find myself on my phone looking up a particular plant to see what it's flowers look like or growing conditions because I've never heard of it. My husband who is not huge into plants even enjoyed himself,in awe of the massive fruit trees inside the greenhouses, even buying a ponderosa lemon tree for himself. The prices are on the higher side but for the quality and selection that they offer it's worth the visit.

Though I have never been to the greenhouse I do wish I could go. I live in New York City. I don’t ride in the trains and I don’t have a car. But I do get catalogs! After getting their catalog four or five times I decided I would give them a try. I called a few times to get a feel for the place and what I might need and what might be successful in my apartment. Finally I decided to stop bothering them and actually make a purchase. Amy and Chelsea were wonderful and knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all my questions even the times I did not place an order. Last week I ordered a bag of the soil, which is light and lovely and doesn’t have to have anything added. I ordered two Tasmanian violets and just looking at them makes me smile. Everything came very well packaged and in a most timely fashion. There was not even any loose soil in the paper! They arrive with instructions for everything. Unpacking, watering, transplanting. Everything you could want to know. I would highly recommend ordering from them as I will again in the near future. To be fair as I said in the beginning I have never been here but I was required by trip adviser to fill-in a dates, so I used the date of my phone calls.
