Tallwood Country Club 91 North St. Hebron, Ct. I have had the pleasure of playing Tallwood many times. This 1970 built track offers a good test of a variety of golf skills. A par 72 that has two distinct nine hole layouts and offers a...More

Tough to judge a place on a holiday. Five hour round. Greens were very nice. Called the clubhouse to have Ranger come out since there were five groups on two holes. Nobody showed. I’ll go back. But not on a weekend

Tallwood is a good course for beginning and intermediate golfers. Although many fairways are tree lined, most have spacious landing zones with good approach angles. The club house serves food and the practice area includes a driving range, putting area and practice traps.

I had played this course when visiting in the Spring and wanted to try it again. What a spectacular course. I play lots of golf where I live but nothing comes close to this. The greens, fairways were exceptional. Can't wait to return.

We enjoyed the challenges of woods and narrow fairways at Tallwood. It helps to know the hole layouts since some shots are blind. The club has a driving range and putting area for pre game practice. Also food is available in the clubhouse.
