Love Hartford Stage! We travel from Virginia on a regular basis to attend events at Hartford Stage. It is one of our favorite theatres. It is quaint and cozy but the seats are comfortable with leg room for a 6 foot 5 inch male! That is a win! Hartford stage has convenient parking and the staff is always very helpful! We saw Dr, Jekyll and Mr Hyde. This play should be on Broadway in the next year or so. We absolutely loved the cast and awesome stage play! Go see it, you will love it! Every play we have seen at Hartford Stage has been excellent! These performances with their outstanding casts are worth the trip for us!

My family and I are from Puerto Rico and vacationed in Waterbury for Christmas week. We planned to watch a production in Hartford Stage, A Christmas Carol. I loved it so much, it was an amazing show. The actors were great. The theater is beautiful. Employees are friendly. There is a pay parking lot. Overall it as a great experience. Two Thumbs Up!

My family and I went to see the Hartford Stage's annual performance (series) of A Christmas Carol. The performance was extraordinary, the actors were great, they brought new life to this wonderful classic. They theater is comfortable and every seat is a good seat. Highly recommended.

There is truly no bad seat in the house. This is an excellent venue. We saw "A Christmas Carol" and all of us - adults and children alike - loved it. The special effects were impressive for such a small theater. My only complaint was that every single snack food was unsafe for someone with a nut allergy. It would be very easy for them to carry skittles or potato chips or gummies or peppermint patties or plain Hershey bars or.....

Impromptu visit to Hartford to gather with family. My Uncle asked if we’d like to join them for what he thought was The Grinch. When arriving we noted that show was actually A Christmas Carol which I was happy about. WOWZA! This production was phenomenal from the first minute with the “ghosts” to the very last scene. Incredible acting, costumes and special effects. I will absolutely drive to Hartford next year with our adult children to see this production again.
I think it may be too scary for children under 6 even though there are many young children in play. Bravo Hartford Stage.

We recently visited Hartford Stage to see the new musical "Anastasia" and were blown away. Fantastic show. We were so glad to see it here for the first time. This was not our first visit to Hartford Stage. This theatre is intimate, innovative and creative. It has parking right underneath, a wonderful lobby, so many bathrooms you never have to wait in line for long (that is important!) and there are no bad seats. Because of the way the theatre is built, you experience the show as if being in an amphitheatre. Hartford Stage shows new work and classics, consistently casts diverse actors and has a fantastic educational department. We do love Hartford Stage!

This is a nice, small theater with a good layout. The staff members are very professional, friendly and welcoming. Parking was easy, too. I would definitely attend another performance at Hartford Stage.

I'm in my mid-forties, and have been a subscriber with my family since I was a child. This theater rivals any theater on Broadway, and has nothing but first class productions. From the gorgeous sets and costumes, to the incredible casts, you can't go wrong. There isn't a bad seat in the house, parking couldn't be more convenient, and the theater offers extensive opportunities for further education with each production. Treat yourself to a night out!!

We saw it...perhaps just us, but not our thing. It was amusing at times, but slapstick and, for us, over the top silliness. It had elements of Monty Python that were amusing, but without the irony. Just our two cents
