Wonderful evening back at the theater! So nice to know that they are taking all the precautions needed to allow safe attendance to the shows. ‘Bands visit’ was a wonderful show with moving songs and heartfelt performances. Interesting cultural exchange that illuminated what is happening around the corner in other parts of the world. BIG shout out to Todd! The theater manager for talking with us and providing so many informative places to see and eat in the city! He is a wealth of info for the production, theater and all about town interests! He made our day and night out a special one and we had a much more enriching experience because of his friendliness and personable nature. Thanks so much to Todd and the Bushnell theater!

There is not a bad seat in the Mortensen Hall here. We went to see the 25th anniversary Farewell Tour of RENT and was not disappointed. We were very glad this tour kept the musical in its original '90s setting and did not try to update it. Actors were top notch and were truly entertaining during their return to live theater due to the pandemic.

The Bushnell has two major theaters and conference facilities. I have been to both theaters and have used the conference space. I would recommend all aspects of this facility. They do a wide array of shows, lectures, music and other artistic events. Their Broadway series is excellent. They have a small cafe on site and a number of bars but their refreshments can be quite expensive. I would highly recommend the Bushnell.

Love seeing shows here because it’s not too far from home and there is free parking across the street. Not a bad seat in the house

My wife and I were in Hartford this weekend to see the Banff Mountain Film Festival. The Bushnell is a great place to see a show. There is not a bad seat in the house. Plenty of room to mingle before the show, during admission, and after the show. Cash bar is available.

One of Hartford's oldest and finest. This icon establishment for the arts is a must see if you are just visiting or live near CT. Always engaging. Something for everyone. Broadway without the drive and traffic! A must experience*

What an amazing place. This theatre can rival just about any theatre in New York City. What quality programming and the seats are great from just about all angles. I have been at this theatre now four different times and have been able to see shows at the larger theatre and smaller one as well. We were also there for a fundraising function and have been more than satisfied with the place, the service and production. This is definitely my favorite theatre in Connecticut and will absolutely be back for other shows. We were there for Anastasia and enjoyed the show. Great music, dance and acting. Bravo!!!!

My husband and I took our grandchildren to see The Grinch Who Stole Christmas today. We had never been to the Bushnell before, and thought it would be convenient to have lunch there before the show. $12 for sandwiches?? Two grilled cheese for the kids $24?? Way overpriced. We ate some snacks I had in my pocketbook for lunch.
Our seats were in the mezzanine and a large older family sat in front of us - needless to say, viewing was limited for the kids even though they sat in boosters.
I felt that the entire performance was mediocre, at best. My grandkids were not at all entertained. Several of the voices were garbled- couldn’t understand what they were saying.
Disappointing present for the kids.

We have visited the BCfPA on many occasions. Today was for the matinee of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS-the musical. Facility is chief wonderful, entry fairly efficient even with metal detector screening after we found easy parking at the Capitol given the parking lot construction further down Capitol Avenue. Ushers are friendly, informative and helpful. If you are early, drinks and snacks are easy. Later and at intermission they need more help.
Sears are comfortable. Acoustics are excellent. Hearing amplification and booster seats available.
A great experience.
