The Elizabeth Park is a great place to walk around, enjoy the view, and definitely a place to take pictures. The flowers were really beautiful and the arrangement of the different was very nice. Took a lot of pics of the family with the beautiful scenery behind them. We actually witness a wedding in the park. Yes, I would recommend... More

This is a wonderful park comparable to European Parks and Central Park. The rose garden is the centerpiece but the perennial and other garden are equally wonderful. People come to walk, have an ice cream or dine at the terrific Pond House. If you have not been make it a priority.

We are lucky enough to live only a couple miles from Elizabeth Park. Sometimes during the warm days, we decide spontaneously to pack up our dinner and take it to the Rose Garden. Every time I see it I am overwhelmed. Everywhere you look and walk, there is a bed of beautiful roses. There are benches throughout for restful meditation... More

Located between Hartford and West Hartford, Elizabeth Park offers wonderfull seasonal flower gardens, free summer concerts on Wednesdays and an amazing restaurant, Pond House Café, on the grounds. So much to do and see. Best to enjoy with friends, family and your dogs as you can stroll the grounds, picnic, enjoy music and see the garden sights...an oasis in the... More

There are always lots of people and families hanging out here. Tons of space to pack a picnic. The rose gardens are beautiful and so nice to walk through. They also have a cafe (that is ok) and a place to get ice cream. This is a great free place to go for the day.

Elizabeth Park contains a variety of lovely gardens (perennial, rock, shade, etc.). The rose garden is magnificent. There are many benches and lots of shade. Gardens are well-maintained and labelled. Parking can be a bit difficult during especially busy times. There is a pleasant cafe and a more casual eating spot. Restrooms are available.

We visited the park with a large wedding group. It was a very popular place with parking hard to get. The layout, flowers, general ambience was exceptional. Its a place that must be re-visited.

My favorite garden at Elizabeth Park is the rock garden behind the perennials, but the annuals, herbs, and, of course, roses are a treat to see. The park also has playgrounds and picnic space. Be sure to stop at the Pond House for refreshments.

This is a beautiful park located at the Hartford and West Hartford line. We went on a Sunday and parking was a challenge. Don't fret as it made for a lovely walk. The rose garden was spectacular. Variety of roses from the grand flowers to the smaller bunches. Adjacent were more traditional flower gardens including zinnias, marigolds, begonias, etc. They... More
