The summer concerts. Great walking scenery. Pond house café-indoor and outdoor-dining. The athletic games played, and of course the roses. Can't be beat.

Well landscaped and extremely dog friendly. I am interested in trying the pond house. This would be a great place for wedding or family photos.

Most people think of Elizabeth Park in the summer, but it's also an excellent spot for winter snow shoeing and a nice brunch afterwards. Don't get me wrong rose gardens in the summer of phenomenal and well worth the visit but don't ever forget it is a year-round Park and brunch is served every Sunday

Elizabeth Park in West Hartford is actually a City of Hartford park. Crowned with wonderful floral gardens especially the rose gardens. Great for strolling, picnics, family fun. Enhanced by music & concert programs.

There are benches available to enjoy food/drink you... More

Large park that is suitable for walking or riding a bike. Plenty of shaded areas with different garden settings & plantings. We were a month or so late to see all the roses blooming, but it was still enjoyable. There is a place to purchase snacks, as well. Visited here twice. The park is well maintained, parking was easy, but... More

Elizabeth park is a beautiful park with many flower gardens that are beautifully kept. You can wander for hours among the blooms or sit in the shade of a tree and just relax. I visit this park nearly weekly.
