Have been out on the Hel-Cat three times in the past month. The captain and crew won me and a couple of others over as customers on our first trip when they made a decision to sail to Montauk with just seven or eight paying customers. Although it was a rainy day and the fishing wasn't quite tip-top, the overall... More

Had an awesome day catching fish. Little rainy all day which allowed for some really good cloud cover and a picturesque return trip as the clouds cleared. I cannot wait to go on this boat again. The staff has tons of experience and is willing to share it. Thank you Hel Cat!!

We were very close to not going out due to low customer numbers but at the last minute got a few more. It was amazing to have so much attention and help from the crew. I was fishing with three teenage boys to celebrate my son's birthday. The captain and crew were knowledgeable, fun and very helpful. We all caught... More

The captain put us on many spots with out any luck. We started out for blues and striped, by the middle of the trip he had us change rods and fish for porgies and sea bass. We both got a fish! The weather was sunny and the ride was churning the waters. Our mates were very helpful and quiet knowledgeable.... More

Took my son out late summer 2014. The boat is nice. The lady running things inside was a joy. The two deck-hands should have been thrown overboard as they obviously didn't want to be there. From now on I stick with my usual charter in NH !!!!

My wife and I went on a Blues/Bass trip on tues 8-25-15. I was hesitant because of a belligerent deck hand and I swore that I would never take a trip on the boat again. However, my wife wanted to do some fishing so we went. Compared to the last time we were on the boat, it was a complete... More

Great time aboard the Hel-Cat II Caught some Nice Porgies. Very helpful friendly staff. Food, rod and reel are extra, but a very good price. It's still cold out, so travel time is a lot further out than in Summer.
