We did this beach trip with our 2 young kids. We parked at the lot, used the pit toilets, then headed out on our bikes. Husband used his mountain bike pulling the trailer with 3 yr old and small cooler. I wore a backpack and...More

My family and I decided to try this park for a walk/hike. It's a very nice place. The walk is not difficult at all. There's 2 trails we opted for the easier one. We went to the end and saw the bluffs. It's beautiful! We...More

My daughter is at Conn College and every time I visit, I do this walk. Great 45 minutes of woods, beach and rocky shoreline. If you want to go to the beach, it is nice but you need swim shoes due to rocky shore.

We did two different hikes over our two week stay here! Great hills to climb through wooded historic areas, tremendous views from the bluff and a nice beach area. I only wish we had our paddle boards with us!

You drive down an unpaved road to the parking lot which is rather large. You can picnic here and sit on the old worn out picnic tables that could use a good sanding and staining. They also have charcoal grills for people to us but...More

Our family loves Bluff Point! It is a great flat walk for little kids. We often bring lunch and eat on the beach, which is usually empty. Sometimes we even go in the water, it is usually a bit cold!

The husband and I walked the trails and snapped a few pics of the scenery. It really is a peaceful place to get lost in and relax. Not much to the place as far as I saw other than hiking and fishing but that was...More

Bluff Point is truly a hidden gem. What a wonderful place to bring a friend, dog, or both. Take a stroll on the path following the Poquonnock River out to the beautiful peninsula and sandy beach of Fisher's Island Sound. The beach is only available...More

Parts of it are as long as it has sturdy tires. Parking lot is dirt and bumpy but then there is a grassy area and jetty. So it would work if it it has rugged wheels.
