A beautiful costal preserve. A nice walk path along the shore. Also has biking trails and picnic area. Once you get to the bluffs, the views are stunning. Plenty of wildlife and estuary views. There is also a ton of seashells! It has a nice little swimming area, but is better known as a great place to go shell fishing.

What a gem location overlooking a spit of land in an urban area on the edge of Long Island Sound and Block Island Sound. We went crabbing, fishing, hiking and picnicking in this secluded area. A bit hard to find if you don't have GPS.

We did this beach trip with our 2 young kids. We parked at the lot, used the pit toilets, then headed out on our bikes. Husband used his mountain bike pulling the trailer with 3 yr old and small cooler. I wore a backpack and used the beach cruiser. My 4 yr old rode her 2-wheeler. It was an easy,... More

My family and I decided to try this park for a walk/hike. It's a very nice place. The walk is not difficult at all. There's 2 trails we opted for the easier one. We went to the end and saw the bluffs. It's beautiful! We sat at the top and had lunch. It would be great if the had a... More

My daughter is at Conn College and every time I visit, I do this walk. Great 45 minutes of woods, beach and rocky shoreline. If you want to go to the beach, it is nice but you need swim shoes due to rocky shore.

We did two different hikes over our two week stay here! Great hills to climb through wooded historic areas, tremendous views from the bluff and a nice beach area. I only wish we had our paddle boards with us!

Nice place, if you go you must walk out onto the mini peninsula at the end is a nice open area for relaxing and locals set up crab traps. The entrance is right by the parking area. Beautiful views once out at the end. It's an easy little walk, no big deal but very peaceful at the end.

You drive down an unpaved road to the parking lot which is rather large. You can picnic here and sit on the old worn out picnic tables that could use a good sanding and staining. They also have charcoal grills for people to us but NO trash cans so any trash you bring you also must take. They do have... More

Our family loves Bluff Point! It is a great flat walk for little kids. We often bring lunch and eat on the beach, which is usually empty. Sometimes we even go in the water, it is usually a bit cold!
