You drive down an unpaved road to the parking lot which is rather large. You can picnic here and sit on the old worn out picnic tables that could use a good sanding and staining. They also have charcoal grills for people to us but NO trash cans so any trash you bring you also must take. They do have... More

Our family loves Bluff Point! It is a great flat walk for little kids. We often bring lunch and eat on the beach, which is usually empty. Sometimes we even go in the water, it is usually a bit cold!

The husband and I walked the trails and snapped a few pics of the scenery. It really is a peaceful place to get lost in and relax. Not much to the place as far as I saw other than hiking and fishing but that was ok with us.

Bluff Point is truly a hidden gem. What a wonderful place to bring a friend, dog, or both. Take a stroll on the path following the Poquonnock River out to the beautiful peninsula and sandy beach of Fisher's Island Sound. The beach is only available to people who take the short hike or boaters. The view from the Bluff is... More

A relatively small state park but with a great view of the bay. I like to go out at dawn to run the 6 km loop as a way to start the day. Good for birders out just for walking along the Rocky shore to contemplate life.

I went to this park after reading a review on the all trails app. I brought a folding bike with me and wanted to check out the area. The trail is clean and wide but rocky. There are several beaches in the area. Beautiful vegetation, and birds. Enjoy

We loved the hike, we did the whole loop. Which took us about 3 hours because we are the stop and look type of people. Suggestions be sure to pack water and maybe some snacks for everyone. Remember that you will most likely start inland and head for the ocean, so extra clothes may also be needed. We loved the... More

Very lovely place for an afternoon/evening walk around with the family. Only downside is sometimes there is dog litter on the paths .

A fantastic walk, bring your bike, bring your horse, bring your cooler and wagon filled with your beach gear. Take the low road at the fork it'll lead you straight to the beach. It's clean and quiet. Take the high road and enjoy a beautiful walk through the woods, where you'll eventually hit the same beach. Also there is a... More

We found this lovely spot on Trip Advisor and headed out on a sunny Sunday for a walk. Despite the fact that the trail is shared with bikes and horses we saw few and none respectively and the bikers were mostly courteous. A few times a "behind you" warning would have been nice. I loved that there are many options... More
