Nice to walk up and down the avenue, especially during the holidays. Your standard fair of high end stores. Probably best to ignore the 1 & 2 star reviews here though. This is Greenwich, not Bedford-Stuyvesant. I don't honestly understand what they're complaining about. If. I you can't afford the shops, don't whine about it.

When I moved to Greenwich three years ago, I loved walking down the "Avenue". And I still love it. I suggest going on a Sunday rather than a Saturday. Most of the stores are open on Sunday and the parking is free. There seems to be less people on Sunday and, of course, on weekdays. Walking the avenue during December... More

There are several chains, RH, Ralph Lauren, Marmot, Apple, etc, but the best shops we found were the gift stores with a variety of items. My favorite being Hoaglands of Greenwich. They have a great assortment of china and flatware, but some great gift items and beautifully decorated Christmas trees. I especially loved the dog tree- very cute.

This area is worth visiting when in town, there are lots of cool little shops and some good places to eat. It is in a very pretty area, a nice place to hang out.

Reviewing a street! Makes sense, actually. It's a destination and although there is knock out high end stuff you can get very decent pizza and green papaya salad. It's very strollable, though it's on a hill. Put if you start from the bottom, the return is easier. There are a couple of pubs and even a pretty old fashioned news... More

Saw Ron Howard walking around. Had a nice cup of coffee. Toured a Tesla and examined an Apple Watch. My 18 month old enjoyed the park and the football and soccer being played.

No one is in a hurry when strolling along Greenwich Ave. Get clothing stores for men and women. Current styles are displayed nicely in shop windows. Shop owners and their staff are welcoming. Even the most exclusive high end retailers are friendly and helpful even if our just looking. (Saks, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Kate Spade and Tiffany). Merchants like... More

You will discover wonderful shops, cafe's and fine restaurants. If you wish to stroll an art gallery or just people watch, it's all here.

A lot of stores down Greenwich Avenue. Great to window shop, expensive stores. Nice coffee shops where you can sit and enjoy the scenery.
