Mr. Sanjib Basnet, a wonderful person with a skilled cyclist. Nor a guiding only, he is cycling operator to Nepal and Lhasa (Tibet)- Kathmandu (1000 KM). I always appreciated his work dedication, friendly behavior with guest and organizing power. I strongly recommend his an organizer with guiding.

In Langtang Valley and Katmandù’s trip we found a wonderful country for its beautiful locations and its lovely people. I sincerly thank Sanjib and Dario, our local guides, for their experience and their liking that bring us for all the trip.
I really suggest this adventure to everyone who would try something different.

I was in Kathmandu and in the Langtang Valley for a six-day trek. Sanjib, our local guide, was very careful, patient and ready to accommodate different needs. I sincerely recommend your guidance and support.

I was in Nepal last October to visit Kathmandu and for a trek in the Langtang Valley. Sanjib has been a perfect guide and has solved many logistical problems. And he's a special person and very fun!

I landed in Nepal with a few ideas on biking in Nepal. I had a few recommendations on guides and contacted Sanjib for biking options asking for something different and non touristy. Oh boy did he deliver. Understood just want I wanted with a grass roots trip that ticked very box I wanted and with some superb local homestays.
If I am coming back, Sanjib is my first call. Thanks mate!

I first contacted CyclingNepal.com in 2017 with a view to visit in early 2018, Sanjib created a fantastic itinerary that suited my requirements and everything was set for 2018 but my employer had other ideas so I had to cancel the trip! I was impressed by the positive attitude of Sanjib who never complained of a missed booking and we kept in contact throughout the year so in November 2018 I finally landed in Nepal.

From the moment I stepped out of the airport after the airline screwing up my flight and causing me to arrive two days later than planned, everything was perfect I didn't have to worry or plan anything myself it was all taken care of, the first couple of nights were a home-stay with Sanjib's family and then the rest of my month were in various different hotels and guest houses that were of a much higher standard than I was expecting.

We cycled all through and around the Kathmandu valley visiting many rural villages that I'd never have had the chance to see if it wasn't for an experienced and knowledgeable guide, Sanjib is also a member of the Red Cross so I felt completely safe knowing that if anything should go wrong I was in the best possible hands, nothing went wrong for my month!

When we arrived in Pokhara for a few days of rest and relaxation we then flew to Jomsom to explore the Mustang region for a week by bike and then we cycled all the way downhill back to Pokhara where I decided last minute that I’d like to change up the remaining 10 days of my pre-planned itinerary. This wasn't a problem for Sanjib the following evening he had prepared another set of options for me and we carried on to Chitwan. We then made our way back to Kathmandu for a few days of final excursions and shopping and then it was time to leave.

I would highly recommend CyclingNepal.com for your trip of a lifetime in Nepal you won't be disappointed, why risk all that stress, time, planning and money when it’s far better to pay a local company who know what's best for you and to give you the best experience possible, just leave it to the experts.

I plan one day to return to Nepal to visit Upper Mustang and I would only consider Cycling Nepal as my guides.

My father and I heard about Sanjib through a family friend, who referred us to him for his outgoing nature and dedication to his duties as a guide. Sanjib very much reinforced that reputation as we cycled together across Tibet over the course of 23 days. Despite the challenges navigating such a harsh and unforgiving landscape, Sanjib was level-headed and knowledgeable. When he planned our routes, he correctly estimated the difficulty and nature of each day's ride 100% of the time. Although the path ahead was at times very dangerous, we never doubted his judgment -- we were confident that Sanjkib would put our lives above his own. He was encouraging and open-minded, and had much wisdom to share. At the end of the trip, we stayed with his family in Kathmandu, and had a wonderful time in his beautiful home. If I have the money and time to do a similar trek later in life, Sanjib will be my guide of choice.

I was introduced to Sanjeeb by one of his prior clients who works in my industry. The reference was as good as promised. Sanjeeb was an excellent host, a caring guide, and a fun companion during an 11-day, 700-mile bike ride from Llasa to the Nepal border, and then four more days as our host in Kathmandu.

Managing a trip in the Tibetan plateau with all the rules and the limitations, the lack of good hostelries and eateries, is an art form. This is tough duty, but Sanjeeb made everything easy - all we had to do was focus on our bikes, the road, and our physical health.

Hope to ride with him again someday - maybe this time do the mountain bike trails vs. the road ride.

My wife and I were referred to Sanjib through a friend who cycled in Nepal. We are trekkers and weren't sure if Sanjib would be a good guide for trekking. After meeting him in Katmandu we knew we were in good hands and were going to have a great time.

Sanjib is very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. He is a truly wonderful person and made our experience in Nepal one of the best we've had in our many years of travel. We would (and have) recommended Sanjib to anyone looking to trek in Nepal. He can accommodate anyone's needs, style and desired outcome for any adventure in Nepal.
