We visited the Chamard Vineyard in May and really enjoyed it. The young lady that attended to us was very friendly and knew her wines. I would recommend visiting here if you're in the area.

Chamard is one of the view stops on the CT Wine Trail that offers food for purchase. We always stop at the bistro for their burgers and fries and we'll get a bottle of their Riesling, too. They also have specialty dinner options. The only downfall is that they don't accommodate larger parties in the bistro because it's small in... More

This vineyard has a beautiful building on great grounds. Too bad that neither the wine nor the help compliment it. The staff in the tasting room were rushed and let you know it. The wine should have been much better but it was not. The staff could have made up for their wine if they only had some personslity, which... More

Dear Fred, We are disheartened to hear that you were disappointed with your experience at our winery. We receive many compliments on our staff, so we are perplexed as to why you didn't feel the same. Our apologies. As for the wine, we are releasing many new ones soon so we hope you will have a change of heart and... More

The vineyards are pretty and the tasting room is a comfortable (often bustling) place overlooking a pond and a fountain. On a sunny day it is a perfect place, and it's cozy inside when it's cold outside. The wine list is not extensive, but there is enough of a variety to please most drinkers.

My husband and I stopped by here before heading for the airport. What a lovely spot! The service was excellent and the wine was very good. We asked for the cheese try which was one of the best ones we've had anywhere. All the cheeses were locally made, which was nice. Nice to sit on the deck in the sun... More

This was the first stop of my boyfriend and I touring wineries and breweries in CT. Upon entering it looked really nice. We went to the tasting room where there were 2-3 servers behind the bar. Service is a little slow because it seemed like the 3 of them were in charge of taking care of the bar, the table... More

We wanted to stop for a tasting but decided to eat instead. The food choices were simply amazing and something that I would expect to see in this type of setting. The peach wine we had was excellent. Our lunch consisted of news England clam chowder, highly recommend trying it and a grill cheese sandwich. All was excellent.

We had been looking forward to coming here for a while. We were so disappointed. The setting is very nice, the menu is good, but that is where is stops. Connor our server was totally inattentive. He was apologetic at the end of the meal, but that was too late. The chicken was dry, the got cheese flat bread was... More

This is a good winery and a very fun place to visit. A nice restaurant is on premise as well and the food is really good.
