White and clean beach. Clear water.
Apr 2019
The color of beach sand is rather pink or creamy. Clean and sloping beach. It is suitable for snorkeling or other water sports. Unfortunately nobody rents kayaks or canoes. Tourists can take a speedboat to cross to Liukang island or Kambing island. The price is not expensive. The two islands have spots for diving and snorkeling. The Tanjung Bira area has not yet developed optimally. There are still many virgin places. Exciting to explore Tanjung Bira.

Rate 5 of 5 for the scenery. The beach is clean and developed. You can do seasport such speed boat or maybe banana boat, there’s also boat for cross the island. Foods and places to stay are available along the beach.

BEAUTIFUL SANDY BEACHES
Sep 2018
After 13 years i returned to see the changes and its more developed but still beautiful.you must do a boat trip to snorkel and land on the beach for fresh tuna and coconuts for lunch. the local people have organised a beach clean so it is plastic free which is unusual. lots of nice areas around Bira to visit as well.

Nice beach
Jul 2018
This is my 3rd time to go to this beach because this beach is simply so beautiful, you can find the clean white sands, blue sea water and and nice sky landscape, if you are go with tight budget, there is so many cheap hotels and inn around the entry

Public beach
Jun 2017 • Friends
We visited this beach on holiday. It was very crowded. This beach is the main destination for holiday or weekend in South Sulawesi. From Makassar took about 5 hours by car.
At the beach there were some stalls which sale food and drink, souvenirs and we can take a rest there. Swimming here is possible. We can also rent boat to visit some islands near the cape. There were also some snorkeling spots near those islands.

Its okay
Apr 2018 • Business
Its okay, when we visit its during weekday so its quite empty. The area needs massive development, specially for hotels and food places.

Good for stopover
Aug 2017 • Friends
It's worth if your final destination is snorkeling or island hopping to Pulau Kambing and Pulau Liukang Loe. If you are taking long hours ride from Makassar just to spend time on this beach, I would not recommend because you have to pay entrance fee (per pax and per car), yet it is not clean.
