The Discovery Museum is very hands-on for children subliminally teaching lots of physics principals. There is also a planetarium with scheduled shows that is ok but was fairly boring for the children - dim visuals and narration that was a little over their heads. Best...More

We packed our lunch and decided we would spend our day at the Discovery Museum, Park Ave., BPT. Today was very different than any other day we had gone there as far as where we were allowed to eat or sit. They would not let...More

There’s an indoor obstacle course for the littles and the third floor has cool exhibits! Sometimes the museum has free events and different activities.

We went here on a class trip with our students. The manager went above and beyond to help the students and staff feel welcome. It is a great hands-on museum with 3 levels of exhibits. There are various exhibits to check out. It was clean,...More

Definitely a children's museum. Lots of "hands on" things for kids to touch and explore and learn. My two kids enjoyed it a lot.

A lot of thinking and planning went into the creation of this museum. It's totally child-friendly and gives parents a chance to see their children's curiosity bloom!

This is a nice half-day visit. The museum caters to children and adults. All of the exhibits are "hands-on" and totally interactive. And unlike most museums, "Do Touch" is the rule here. Each exhibit also has scientific information signs that explain the science behind everything,...More

Visiting from out of town, I took my 7 and 3 year daughters to this museum and we had a nice time for about 3-4 hours. This will not be confused with major children's museums (think Indianapolis Children's Museum) or Science Centers (e.g., Museum of...More

It is set up for children, however, me and my adult friend spent over 2 hours there. I recommend not going to the narrated planetarium show as it was not very dynamic. The other show is better and suited for adults, teens or... More
