While the amount of artifacts they have on display right now is small, the tour guides know so much about everything it doesn't seem like a small museum!! She was able to stop at each artifact and talk about them for a few minutes each,...More

While the museum used to be larger, due to tornado damage, much of the stuff is packed away awaiting a renovated space (which will be some years in coming). Nevertheless, there is still a LOT to see and learn about Barnum, the circus, as well...More

We stopped here, and really were glad we did. The volunteers were really well-informed and very knowledgeable and the displays were well done. We learned alot about Barnum.

We have been coming to the area for years, but never stopped in. I am glad we visited this small museum. Wished we had visited sooner.

Museum is only open on Thursdays and Fridays, from 11am to 3pm, and Saturdays during the summer. Fantastic artifacts. Funny docent lady with a slide show.

We got to the museum only to discover most of the building is closed due to tornado damage. The older lady at the entrance offered a tour and mentioned a free will donation. She said the tour would be about 25 minutes but it actually...More

Although the museum is undergoing repairs/restoration it is worth the visit...a small or large donation when you enter would help their cause. The items they do have on display are quite unique and interesting enough to investigate the stories of Barnum and Tom Thumb.

I brought my girls here as a treat after seeing The Greatest Showman movie. Even though the original building is undergoing much needed restoration, what they do display is still interesting. The curator definitely added some added history as well. We truly enjoyed this experience....More
