love the old west history

See a blast from the past. Where the real old west lived. This place features an olde stage coach and is a great diversion especially in the summer

I agree with Katherine L - the curators really have done a nice job in laying out the chronology of an early settler's ranch and family history, along with bits and pieces of Wild West artifacts. It's a pleasant way to spend an afternoon and the entrance fee goes to a good cause. There's also some info on the Ute... More

Cozen's is a great little museum in an old ranch house. The curators have done a remarkable job of assembling great pieces of history. You learn a lot about the valley and how much it has changed over the past 100 years. It looks small on the outside, but there is a lot packed into the little museum. Totally worth... More

We had pitifully low expectations and shouldn't have. There is lots to learn in this little gem of a museum. Its worth the time.

This is the first homestead home in the valley and it's well maintained and the curators have done a nice job of gathering local history--both Native American and Euro-American--and displaying it in this museum. It takes maybe an hour to read all of the information but it is worth it.

Good displays of history of the Frazer Valley and the evolution of travel to the area beginning with the Utes through trappers, stage coach and railroad and highway. Enjoyed the display about Dr. Susan's early years in the valley. Helpful woman overseeing the museum. Entry fee is $5 or $4 for seniors.

Really well done little museum that helps you understand some history of the Winter Park area. Give yourself about an hour to go through the whole property; a little longer if you are a true history buff.
