Child or Adult there is a lot to see and do here. Walk the lovely Betty Ford Alpine Garden or pitch a ball or meander. Lots to enjoy.

So many activities here. There’s an amphitheater, sports complexes, forest, garden, play area. It’s so relaxing to walk around and enjoy nature with the beautiful trees and streams. Take some time and relax!

A fun place for children to play next to the alpine gardens and ball fields. The creek runs by on the south side.

My kids had a blast here. They're 2 and 5 with slides for big and little kids. It's a beautiful place.

The Gerald Ford Amphitheatre in the Park is beautiful and the quality of music there in the summer is second to none. Covered seating as well as lawn seating are available. The Betty Ford Alpine gardens are just next store and a large playground is just beyond the gardens.

Always enjoy several visits to Ford Park when we are in Vail. The playground/park is well kept playground has lots of choices of various ages of children. The large grass area is huge, great place to throw a Frisbee or let the kiddos burn off some energy :) We gave up counting how many times our grandson went up down the slides!! After may years of watching our kids enjoy this park it was fun watching the "next generation"!
Highly recommend!! Save time for a stroll through the Betty Ford Gardens next to park always beautiful when flowers are in bloom!

Our Condo was located along the walk to Ford Park. It is an absolutely incredible park! The guys spent lots of time just playing catch, batting practice, shooting hoops.. Us older ones walked thru Betty Ford Gardens many times. There are Tennis Courts, Baseball Courts, Baseball fields, Soccer fields and Pickle courts. Lots of places to just sit and enjoy. Children's gardens, gift shop and information building. You really need to take time to see Ford Park while you are un Vail.

Not the best place to enjoy the sun as a couple or with adults. Go hike, bike or do something else, but this is just as ideal for families as Disney World. Its also just as expensive, but at least there are no crowds.

We stopped at the park for touch a truck; kids can get in various city vehicles and explore. Then walked through the gardens and played at the playground. The education center was closed.
The 1 and 3 year olds had a great time exploring and playing. They didn’t want to leave. It wasn’t too crowded being mud season.

We looked everywhere for entrance and parking to enter Ford park and Betty Ford gardens. We were unsuccessful and left without being able to experience the park.
Please post parking instructions and where to enter,
