We opted to go to the original location in Avon rather than the tap house one in Vail. The patio was a great place to sit and soak in the warm sun, and the beer choices were varied. I got the Oktoberfest and my husband had the Gore Creek IPA. We met some friendly travelers from out of state and ended up spending a lot more time than intended, so we ordered lunch from the Rocky Mountain taco truck that was there too.

Loved all of the brews that we tried, and Kevin was an absolute gem! We love this place and went back several times. Highly recommend contact IPA, hot mess blonde, and the traveling light saison. Grab a beer and go to the fire pits, or hang out inside and pet all the dogs 😊

Great spot to stop and refresh. This craft brewery offers a wide selection to satisfy everyone. Not a beer drinker? The pineapple-ginger kombucha is lightly spiced and very refreshing. They offer chips and pretzels for purchase or you are welcome to bring food in. Cheers!

One of my favorite things to do while traveling is to drink local. Great location with plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating around firepits with a view of the ice skating rink. I loved the ski chairlift inside! The Dark Necessities Porter was delicious.

We LOVE the beer here. Snow angle was sooooo good!!!! My boyfriend enjoyed the CDC brown ale. Smaller place with cozy vibes. Bartenders are very friendly. We enjoyed Kevin’s company. He gave us some great recommendations! Will be back one day!! Thanks for the memories. (:

Great service by lindsey....fast, friendly and attentive. Cozy fireplace and a laid back relaxed seating. 12 beers on tap (beer only, no wine or liquor), with a variety of styles. The gose was pretty good as were the 2 double ipas and my wife liked the seltzer (she is a wine drinker normally). They had cans and a special bottle to go as well as the tap room offerings.

Plenty of parking and we would certainly go back when We return to vail.

Checked out the brewery as it was only a 5 minute walk from the Four Seasons. The location is just the right size as its cozy but big enough to have a decent size crowd. The beer-tender was extremely helpful not just with the beer selection but recommending activities in the surrounding areas. They have a good selection of IPA’s and blonde Ale’s. I recommend the Hot Mess Blonde or the Core Greek IPA.

My wife and I went by Vail Brewing Company early in the afternoon. It’s a nice, warm, comfortable place to enjoy a beer located on the second floor of a development near the center of Vail village. The local bus stop is located right outside at the street so getting there is easy. Bathrooms were located downstairs, and were common to several establishments. The place was clean, the beer was good.... it was crowded but the small wait to be seated was worth it. We will go back.

The Vail Valley’s newest brewery very well may be its best.

On a recent trip to the Valley, I dropped into VBC several times with both family and friends.

Having at one time as many as 15 beer selections on tap, I tried most, including a delectable Kolsch, an IPA, and a couple of lighter summer-type beers. On my first day there, they had a bourbon-influenced stout which was truly exceptional.

No food, although on the weekends a fine taco food truck is prominently parked outside the front door.

Brewmaster Garrett really knows his craft, and I look forward to seeing VBC expand its presence by kegs and cans, which I understand are in the relatively near future.

Of particular note, two of the brewery’s founders are former Green Berets, and it’s nice to see the Old Glory that they brought back from Afghanistan hanging proudly over the brewing vessels.

The only negative after several visits is I wish the blonde beertender would act like she enjoyed her job a bit more, but perhaps I just caught her at a bad time.
