I've been on several guided backcountry ski trips with Paragon while in Vail for ski vacations with my family . All have been safe and enjoyable. My skills have progressed from beginner to the ability and confidence the ascent and descend a big mountain in winter. The equipment is top shelf.

I had a wonderful time with my guide Paul. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided me with an incredible hike in the forest. He also makes a wonderful hot tea. He gave me a great education of the forest and we actually saw two moose on our excursion. It was a fantastic and very memorable time. I would totally do... More

A brilliant fun day with Donny, a true pro and nice guy. I got an AT kit for Christmas and needed to dial in skis, boots, bindings, skins, for a 2-week trip to Europe. Donny was a big help. Last year my husband and I did a one-hut trip with Rochelle and enjoyed the heck out of 10th Mtn Div... More

I have had several snowshoe trips with Tanya and she is the greatest. The trips are almost spiritual in nature because it is just us out there being very present in the moment surrounded by beauty. I could do this every day. My family has joined me on some of the outings and they never are disappointed. Highly recommend a... More

Our group of 4 spent 5 days traveling hut-to-hut with Donny and Rochelle. The country is breathtakingly (I mean that literally at 11,000 feet) beautiful; there's no comparable way to see this area in the winter. The guides were not just friendly and helpful -- there was never any question that we were safe and in good hands no matter... More

We recently booked a full day snowshoe adventure with Paragon Guides. They were very helpful prior to the adventure with booking and other details. Our guide Paul, checked in with us the day prior to the adventure to learn more about us and to be sure we would be prepared. Paul made a wonderful choice and took us to the... More

My family had a fantastic time with Paragon Guide, Nick, when he led our group of 11 between Uncle Bud's and 10th Mtn Huts. We hired Paragon Guides because we were nervous about route finding in this remote area, which turned out to be wise, since fresh snow and very few blazes made this trail completely obscure. We were SO... More

Nick guided our party of 11 (3 families) from Uncle Bud's cabin to the 10th Mountain Division Hut - a 7.5 mile ski tour. Nick arrived the night before and skied a run with us. He immediately became part of the family - knew everyone's name, joined in the conversation, he's so skilled as an outdoors guide that he knows... More

Writing this from my smart phone the day after this fantastic tour - an absolute must for anyone wanting to spend some quality time with a knowledgeable guide, have an outdoor lunch with incredible views, and of course, with the llamas. Ken was our guide and provided fun llama facts, pointed out specific sites on the trail, as well as... More

We went on a hike with the llamas for our anniversary and had the best time! We had a great guide in Joe who knew the whole area. Our llamas, Dude & Kareem, were awesome. We would recommend this hike to anyone wanting to see the back country of Beaver Creek while also learning more about Llamas.
