The Falls at the end of the Trail is so SPECTACULAR !!! Its a beautiful trail, very scenic, we enjoyed the 'flowered field'. Here are some TIPS: Its a HARD trail due to some steep rock climbing around the last one third of the trail....More

I would have given this 5 stars if it was easier to get to this hike. There are only about 10 parking spots so it is unlikely you will find parking during the week. I have been on a weekend before and you can park...More

For our first full day in Vail we tackled the Booth Falls hike. The ascent was definitely a workout – thin air was noticeable. The trail is clearly popular and many people, and dogs, were headed in both directions. The falls themselves are difficult to...More

This is a difficult trail. We are in excellent shape (bicyclers, swimmers, runners), but the high altitude will take your breath away. Definitely wear good hiking boots as you will be climbing over rocks, roots and water. Parking is VERY limited.

Rated moderated-difficult. I'd say more on the difficult side even for experienced hikers. Beautiful scenery. Leave early to beat the heat. Wear proper attire including hiking shoes/boots, hats for sun, etc. Lots of water, lots of breaks! So fun and challenging!

Even though we got there around 5pm and weren’t able to finish the whole hike, the 2 hours we did do was amazing. I definitely recommend to go during the fall late September early October. Especially during the sunset some of the most beautiful scenes...More

We hiked this trail with our adult kids. We went to the falls and back, and including time at the falls, we hiked it in under 3.5 hours. I would say go earlier in the morning, the trail was busier as we headed down. Some...More

Not very crowded if you go early. We took the free bus shuttle at 8am. Bus stop is third one from Vail. Takes maybe 6 minutes. Trail head is 2 tenths of a mile up from bus stop. Trail head only had two parking spaces...More

I’m in good shape and this was a tough hike. Took us roughly 3 hrs. If you’ve got an extra three hours and Want even more challenge you can go another 1500 feet up to the lake. Next time!

I did the 4 mile hike with my family (kids are in their 20's). This trip is not for beginners or little kids. I might be one notch above beginner and I struggled in a few spots. We took our time and enjoyed the views....More

we did see a black bear in the meadow about 3/4 of the way up, but typically they are more interested in eating berries and not people

My husband hiked this trail last September and said in was beautiful. The leaves were turning. It can be chilly in the early morning, but usually in the 65- 70s if sun is out by noon.
