In comparison to vail, Bever Creek is more fun with less crowds. Along with this mountain containing runs suitable for beginners, there is great black and double black terrain. The only time you'll experience crowds is at noon on a holiday on the centennial express lift. Plus you can enjoy very little traversing to get from place to place.

BC's green trails at the summit allow beginners to experience awe-inspiring views at 11,000+ ft. By beginners, I don't only mean new to skiing/boarding, but also new to CO skiing. I decided on BC after researching CO options for those who have learned to ski in PA and whose highest mountain has been 4,400 in NY. Beaver Creek delivered and... More

While skiing in Vail I thought it would be a good idea to try Beaver Creek. The last time I skied Beaver Creel was in 1982 with my wife. On this trip I was traveling with my son I thought it would be a good idea to try Beaver Creek again. Beaver Creek is located only 15 minutes West of... More

IMO the most scenic area of Colorado ski fields and these 2 resorts are worth a visit. Ski or board under the Epic pass deal and it can match anywhere else in the US for price and value. Sure you may come across some pretentiousness in the villages (but hey, that makes for free people watching entertainment!) but on the... More

We come here every year with aunts, uncles and all of the kids. It is so fun to ski, skate and snow show. The restaurants are awesome too.

My oldest son and his brother taught my 5 and 3 year old grandsons how to snowboard. The bunny slopes were excellent for teaching and they had a very nice moving tread way for going back up the hill. The lift employees were very courteous and allowed my wife and I to go on the lifts while not skiing to... More

If you love the outdoors and especially skiing or boarding this is the place to go! At the end of your day normally around 3:15 to 3:30 their are these bakers who come out with silver trays with chocolate cookies right out of the oven, and offer them to everyone. This mountain you can ski and enjoy (has allot to... More

My husband and I had such a blast for our 10year anniversary here. The skiing, and the shopping was so fun. The little events they had in the middle of the village was so unique. Loved it!
