Museum was very nicely kept. Don't know if there was more somewhere else or not. This was a 10minute stop off from the trolley ride. Was interesting, just was not very large. Saw it all in 10 minutes. Could of taken up to a half hour to read everything.

Learned that CO was once under the ocean and that giant fish bones has been discovered here. Fish dinosaurs. A free museum at the junior college.

This is a fantastic museum. It is on the college property. It it small but filled with many delightful items to look at. It is also FREE - they do ask for a donation though.

This small museum dealing with the ancient history of the region is definitely old school. There is nothing interactive about it. There's not too much reading to do, but it's all rather dry. I would not recommend this place to little kids who are into dinosaurs. There are plenty of dinosaur bones, but I'm not sure a kid under 7... More

But it was packed full of stuff, the museum is so small the Dinosaur was in the hallway and the T-Rex foot print was outside at the entrance. Your grand children will love it.

The Louden Archaeology Museum is part of the Trinidad State Junior College. It is fabulous for such a little museum. it is full of wonderful pre historic-man artifacts; fossils; arrowheads; petroglyph; cast of dinosaur tracks; and a skelton of a 80 million year old sea reptile. Great place to visit for all ages. Museum is free - donations accepted. Check... More
