Don't waste another minute waiting in line at the rental shops. Instead, place your order for skis, snowboards, boots and helmets before you arrive and a technician will find a time that’s convenient for you and does a custom fitting in your hotel room, condo or vacation home. This package is for beginner level skiers.  If you are a more experience skier or if you simply want to be on the highest quality gear, please select the Premium Ski Package.

Worth the short drive from town, Ophir is an eclectic assemblage of old shacks and more modern homes, in the shadow of formidable Ophir Pass and trail.

It's not nothing. We drive this pass to earn our first jeep badge however we were not prepared for the terrain because people say how easy it is. It was exciting and terrifying for those afraid of heights.

4 wheel needed for this trip, very scenic and exciting. There are camping spots at the section over by Ouray. Some wildflowers left and the mountains are beautiful.

Off road four wheeling is a way of life in this area. We took a guided tour from Telluride over Ophir and back by Black Bear Pass. Ophir is not the worst drive by a long shot. There are some scary places where the loose shale rock makes you feel that you will slide off the mountain. But our driver, Kevin, from Telluride Outside, was great. An expert driver, he guided us safely over Ophir and Black Bear.

We drove this road today to get from Ouray to Telluride, opting for this route instead of the more daunting Imogene pass. Just use your 4wd, focus on the road and take it slow. The views are stunning and oncoming traffic was very polite—everyone watched to see other vehicles approaching and adjusted to make the passing safe. The most harrowing part is going downhill on those rock roads near the top but we had a great time.
